IMO I'd take Serpico via the upset.
Serpico would loose, just coz Griffith is the most important character after Guts

I saw on youtube that this axe can be used on the ps2 game.
But anyway Guts sword is enchanted too, after all this apostile's blood it have drinked.

True, but the enchantment on Gut's sword is more subtle. It doesn't give any flashy powers or abilities, just makes it capable of cutting even the most high-astral of beings.

1.) Just a friendly duel perhaps. I mean if both could step outside the story and not try and kill one another. Like with Gut's subsequent duels with either character.
2.) Did the game give any indication? Damn I wish I could play it!

Hey Prince, I saw your post on the newbies introduction thread.......laughed my ass off (i thing thats an american modism, not sure though).
/alternative= I ended up ROFL.
( Im lying, i think its hilarious, but i dont feel like laughing....)
About the vs question, I think Serpico would beat Griffith to a pulp in no time.
Why? Serpico has fought Post-Eclipse Gutts twice and he hasnt ended up loosing miserably like Griffith did against Pre-eclipse Gutts.
*sigh* i know....I know...."But he has never fought Gutts without recurring to trickery like Griffith did !!"
Well, IMHO it isnt that important, because I am pretty sure that using the same dirty tricks Griffith wouldnt last a second against post-elcipse Gutts.
Its just an opinion so its totaly worthless in a discussion.......guess posting this didnt have any sense at all.
May be this is way Regulars never start vs discussions......fuck it.......fuck it all........
Pd: In case you didnt notice i feel kinda down right now.....sorry if anything said above was offensive or shit like that... *sits in a corner of his room and starts sobing*

Sounds like someone needs a few shots of jager or greygoose.
Yeah, one of those pesky forum "guidelines" is that we don't like vs. threads/posts, not because we hate free thinkers but that they really are pointless. Usually devolves into e-penis flaming about who's theory has the least flaws.
Ask a silly question, get a silly answer.
After all, this is about Berserk right?

Although if we're doing
REALLY Newbie questions, I think the best has to be "When's the next chapter coming out?" Or perhaps "Why don't you host the early volumes of Berserk on this website? And where can I get them?"

I will kill anyone who asks that.
And if I'm not around, may any other forum member descend upon you like carrion vultures.

Ooh, I call dibs on the eyes! If you eat someone's eyes, you gain their wisdom.
...Wait, that's crazy. YOU take the eyes. (-:

In rural China, women feast on the placenta after a mother gives birth.
Supposedly it is believed ensure fertitlity.....in addition to curing blindness in midgets.

Ignoring the placenta aspect, I'm not sure why anyone would try to consume any body part (eyes, brains, whatever) of such individuals for wisdom. Why try to gain the "wisdom" of someone executed for rampent stupidity?

It is pretty common still with some native tribes in the jungle I think. At least to eat something of a fallen comrade to "keep his spirit alive" or such things.

Sure, but the newbs under discussion here are the sort that we don't
want to keep their spirits alive.
