Come on guys. This DOA movie looks much worse than Street Fighter. At least Street Fighter tried to focus on a story rather than the boobage.

Well, I have a hard time believing any videogame to movie could be worse than Street Fighter, but we won't know till it's released. *shrugs*

Hmmm...don't you think MK2 was worst than Street Fighter? I think that, in a heartbeat ;)

I could watch SF for hours (of course, that would've kill me), but I can't stand MK2...it's the worst movie ever!!!!

I thought MK1 was good the only good videogame movie so far. MK2 wasnt so hot though.

Yeah, totaly agree. MK1 was quite good. It's not "Return of the King", but c'mon, who expected so?

I loved the "Ninjas" (Sub-Zero, Scorpion and Reptile), though Sub-Zero died a stupid death :(

Haha ROTK wasnt to hot iether compared to first two movies.

"Come over Herrrreee" :

No, not really. I loathe the Street Fighter movie. I mean, they made Guile the main character, what the fuck. Ken and Ryu weren't even that important. Plus, their idea of a Shoryuken, was some pansy ass upper cut with a twist, ack! Not that the MK2 movie was much better.

Well, SF really was what killed Raul Julia...he must have watched it and got a heart attack...

I hated what they did to Vega - he was one of my prefered characters on the game, and he was SO DAMN RIDICULOUS! But of course, not ridiculous as Blanka (the brazilian  ) or Dhalsim. A freaking scientist? What the heck? He did look like a hindu type of guy, but that was the only resemblance of them!

Chun-Li was a journalist? Honda was her helper? WHAT THE FUCK???

Yes, Street Fighter is probably the worst movie in history...though I still hate MK2 more

What made hate SF to the core was that Ryu wasnt Ryu like,Ken also.

They were played by guys that coulndt fight.

Ramon Julia that played Bison was awesome though, too bad he died.

Just watched Goblet of Fire yesterday, on a premiére (here in Brazil, everything is so damn late :( ).

Anyway, the movie was great, funny, very intense - for those who read the book. I can imagine that someone who hasn't will be lost during the movie...

On second notes, Hermione is becoming quite atractive, and the girls from Beauxbaton (or something like that) were beatifull (specially Fleur, who looks incredibly like my girlfriend ), but there where some scenes that I can't say without spoilers that were...somewhat shocking to me. The scene with Harry in a bath, that was it - if you saw you know what I mean...

But in the end, a great movie!

Interesting note: In Nippon, Bison is actually named Vega. Vega, is actually named Balrog. Balrog, is actually named M. Bison (Like, Mike Tyson). However, due to an American translation error, they screwed up the names. So, do they correct their problem for future games. Nope, they just leave it how it is, after all these years. Sometimes my own countries stubborn stupidity really pisses me off.

Yeah, that's true. But to avoid any legal issues with Balrog being named Bison (as in any similarities with the boxer Mike Tyson), they had to switch the names around. It's all to prevent any disputes with Mike Tyson, really.

Heh i didnt know that.

How dare they fool us for so many years :P

Does Vega really look like a Balrog to you guys?

They also renamed Goki to Akuma- one synonym for demon/devil to another. Why?

Also, Uwe Boll kills more games. Watch the trailer. It begins with some bad shots stolen from LotR, and the second half just devolves into roffles and insanity.

Like Eldo said, it wasn't because of a mistranslation, it was to avoid any legal issues that could arise with Tyson. Regardless, changing the names of these characters after so many of us had gotten used to them would just lead to unnecessary confusion.

I personally think the american names are more fitting, including Akuma/Gouki.

Then again, those are the names I've gotten used to over the years.

Oh, my bad. I'm not saying they should change them now, I was saying they should have changed them way back when. However, if it was over a legal issue, then I guess that wasn't an option. Well, that's a lot better than what I thought was the case, so that's cool. I still think it's a silly legal issue, but what can you do. I wonder if that's why they changed Zoro's name in One Piece.

And Tizoc/Griffon Mask.

Why they changed those names in MOTW is beyond me, but I'll be damned if Butt isn't the most awesome name for a video game character ever.
