It's funny just as I typed that last post I remembered I asked you to tell me what you thought of it.
I've been out the country for 2 weeks so I didn't get to see anything. I'm thinking of going back to my SC thread, I still owe finito something. It would be necro at this point though.
As for Domino, no big loss though, I smell a DVD realse in a week or two.
Thanks for remembering though.

Is this one the Tarantino actually directs or did they slap stick his name like they did with Hero? I thought his next flick was supposed to be about war.
I don't know and director alive who wants to be associated with "cabin fever" atleast the one that came out recently.

Yeah, although he is producing it, he didn't direct or write it, so it's not like Tarantino fans are going to break down walls to go see it. I can't watch the trailer because fuckign Quicktime says I need an updat, but when I try to get it, they tell me they don't have an update for me to get. Fuckers.

Hah, i'm on a quad G5 quicktime for p'c's sucks IMO
But yeah, I doubt I'll be seeing this one till its on dvd, just like Hero. I just think planting his name on things to sell a flick is a fugly thing to do. I guess he agreed to it so I can't get too mad just disappointed.
I wonder what would happen if they put the director of Cabin Fevers name on the title. That would be funny.
--PS Have you heard of a serious movie that is categorized in a genre called Horror/comedy. They should had picked one or the other in cabin fever. At least "Scary Movie" made its position clear as a comedy.

The story is what makes this movie so great. Its one of the best movies i have ever seen.
I rate it 10/10. The main actor is the best!

I saw a documentary of the boxer he plays where he made comeback to save "the white people" from the black monster who was the first black boxing champion Johnson. I bet they dont mention that in the movie
In the trailer they made him out to be a noble man,a hero etc yeah right....
I wonder why noone makes movie of the man the changed boxing forever,Johnson

It looks like Charlies Angels with DOA characters. Except worse!
Why do they all have long katanas? Couldnt they at least use their normal weapons/fighting styles .........

Well I dont know anything about DOA so I cant see how much the plot will change. Does the DOA games actually have a story? I mean they did a DOA volleyball, I dont think they care much about their plot.
Nothing wrong with making a movie of a game if you can do it right, but those girls dont look that much like the ones in the games. Thats what happen when the realisator choose popular actress for the roles instead.
The movie could still have success if the action scenes and fight scenes actually are good, but that will be hard, and little ive seen in the trailer sucked, it made me remember THE street fighter movie.

Yeah DOA has somewhat of a story line, and ryu and i forget who else isn't in the movie, PLUS Charlies angels plus doa doesn't mix well at all.

ew that got that asian chick from 2fast 2furious in there as kasumi, well i dont' like kasumi much but this girl won't do her justice in the least.
