Good news! It's partially true! Next episode of Berserk will be coming out in issue 21 of Young Animal, October 24, much earlier than predicted! We're not really going to get two episodes, unfortunately, just one and a reprint of 297. The color page is still in.

Rejoice, and mark it on your calender, for the wait is nearly over. Berserk 298 comes out October 24!

Read this on theblackswordsman. Still not sure if it's true or not.

First time i ever saw a manga magazine do that, then again, with the breaks that Berserk takes, it kinda of understandable.

Still, it looks that the wait is over.

Only sixteen more days?! That would be fabulous if it turns out to be true.

Please let it be a chapter about guts...for once...

yeah, makes me feel sad there will be months for a single release and no Guts in there Anyway, Griffith's better than nothing (I'm still curious to see how he'll defeat Ganishka) and I'll continue checking for a "Berserk new chapter preview" post almost everday, anyway...

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to that. Especially since, according to the dream/prophesy it seems like it'll be something really easy and/or fast. I can't imagine off hand how he plans to do it, but knowing Miura it should be awesome. That's one of the reasons I don't mind too much that the focus will probably stay on Griffith for a few more chapters.

Again, according to Ritual Scan Forge, another manga author will draw the alternative cover for volume 33.

So expect Berserk cover with inferior artwork, hehe.

Why must it be a joke? I don't own a Berserk volume, but it has a dust cover, right? So the dust cover will have the real cover, while the cover on the actual book will be the alt.

Berserk volumes are soft covers. There is no dust cover.

Maybe not in the american or canadian releases, but in the Japanese releases, most mangas have dust covers, even on soft cover books. On the ones I have, books 21 and 22, the dust cover is in color and the actual cover is black and white, and then right inside is a colored doublesided page of artwork. I don't know if that one page is normal, but I have it in my book 23 canadian version. Though, I don't know what to think of another artist drawing a Berserk cover. The artwork done for the anime was pretty decent, and that wasn't done by Miura.
