Yeah that is
his P.O.V. Thats the thing with him he sees nothing beyond
himself. Even when he was talking about Freedom. He acknowledged Freedom's strength not the Pilot. If he was a civilian I would agree with his P.O.V. but he isn't.

I saw the raw a few moments ago and I must say so far it was the best episode.
I don't know if i should congratulate Shin or call him a sick puppy. Even so I'm pro Kira
I'm really eager to see what will happen next after all we don't know for sure what Dullindal has in store but one thing is for sure Kira and co as well as EAF won't like it

Actually Shinn pisses me off alot. He does whatever the fuck he feels like. He's in the military and it's pretty much impossible to get special treatment the way he does. Also, his lack of respect is another thing that pisses me off. I don't personally hate his vengeance though, I think that is what makes him a believable character even though the audience might think it's completely immoral. I just think it's a big plot issue concerning the way the higher-ups treat him. Also, yes, he's bitchy.
Concerning Kira, he is still boring no matter how much ass he kicks. He is the divine justice in the show. I'm sure it's not only I that agree on that point. He is a character that has pretty much all the traits that make a saint. I guess you can say he went through a great change from the first series. But I still don't buy it. Everything about him is too sugar coated. But I can see why there are alot of fans out there that're pro kira; I'm just not one of them. He lacks too much depth to be a believable character even if you include his story from the first series.
As for the rest of the characters, I'm not even gonna probe into it anymore because I don't feel like typing so much haha.
This is becoming an interesting discussion ^^

glad to see your enjoying it. XD I understand Shinn wanting revenge for his family. But still just destroy a city full of military and innocent Civilians what did she do to deserve revenge?? So that kind of turns me off to his character a little more.
edit: I just thought about it. They must be trying to show that Kira has lost a big part of himself. I guess that attributes to his lack of excitment. lol

Maybe or they just want to develop his character further like they did in Seed, after Strike was destroyed he got a new mindset and all. As well for other characters like Athrun, Cagalli or even Lacus could this initiate a bit more character development as some stated is needed.
And about Shinn being the most believable character in destiny may be true, about him seeking strength and revenge, is as well the reason what ticks most people off, i think. He's actions aren't justified in our opinion because we look at the situations in a calm and a more mature manner as he does. Maybe because of his sad past or his age such behavior my be appropriate for a civilian but as a military personal he should be able to control his feelings and be reasonable. Also his attitude towards other is troublesome, on that point I guess everybody agree is do to the fact nobody has beaten some sense into his head ( not yet

), to be protected by Dullindal and being praised for his reckless actions hasn't done any good for him as well. He definitely needs some serious beating and a good counselor for his problems.
I'm really eager to see what will next even so I read ahead but who knows if those information are true. And yes the discussion becomes interesting

I just watched the translated version. I've got to say that my interest in seed destiny is improving slightly.
BTW, for those of you who haven't watched MS igLoo yet, I highly reccomend it. It's from the UC and its visuals is amazing.

Really?? I was thinking about downloading that. Thanx for the recommendation I'll watch it. Well episode 34 was the best one by far. But I wonder how long they will be able to ride this wave. Its going to get slow again.

Yea igLoo definitely made me appreciate gundam again. UC is so much better than all the other alternate stuff that they've been putting out

So, anyone care to explain the huge explosion near the end of episode 34?
Archangel blowing up would be tragic, Freedom blowing up would be tragic... either way, I feel like crying and screaming along with Ashrun.
More than anything, Calgari was on the Archangel... if it had blown up, I think Ashrun would have screamed for Calgari, so I'm going to assume the huge ass explosion was due to Kira's Freedom. Now, with that type of explosion, how does Shinn stay alive?
Oh... the plot holes, they eat me away inside.

Oo the movie magic??

Big explosions make the move/show. Shinn survived a "nuclear explosion"? ok then I'm sure Kira did as well. Also I heard that positron cannons don't react well with water because of the densities or something like that. lol sounds like BS but it does somewhat make sense.

Youre all acting like Kira is already dead. Hes NOT. His MS may be, but he comes with a better one. Kira is never a bitch, he understands his position and never oversteps his boundaries. The ONLY reason why kira lost, was because he lacked the necesarry concept for survival: The will to kill. If he had lost himself to the battle, and to himself, he wouldve pwned Shinn.
BTW, who ever said that Positron Cannons dont react well in water? I believe that the explosion was probably kinda like when Strike was blown by Aegis. Just a bit more extremem because of the nuke and all.
Also, how many spare parts does Shinn have? Hes replaced the body and bottom legs atleast like 5 times.

Kira's primary goal was to make sure the Archangle survived, notice how he kept checking on it. He no longer wants to kill, so he specifically aimed for non-kill points.
This was exploited by Shinn who had to go through 3 iterations of armaments before getting the job done. It just shows how unstable and untrustworthy he is. Gladys should be more concerned about Shinn's behaviour than that of a fellow FAITH member.

shinn's behavior has been foregiven by Gil before and it will continue to be. Well until he out lives his usefulness.
The positron cannon really can't work with water in the way. Last time I checked lasers don't work under water.

Yea Gundam Seed Destiny is just one big plot hole. But other than that, it was the best episode so far.

yeah I just read some additional info on Strike Freedom To2fpic

I'm sure you'll love to hear how overwhelming its weaponry is. XD
I can't wait for Mwu's return to greatness (though it hurts his image

) But at least one of my favorite characters has a chance to return.

I hate this series, b/c if you miss 1 episode, you can't follow. Also, there are too many factions and groups. It's like a mix.

Really? i thought there were only 3 factions... ORB, EAF and Zaft. BTW, Kira and archangel DO count as ORB. And even if you miss 1 episode, you can kind of figure out what happened, because of the previous episodes "Sneak preivew". Unless you dont watch till the end. Then you wont know.
BTW, did you know that Gaia is gonna be piloted by Waltfeild? I think it suits him perfectly, being on a Bakuu preivously and all.
