Was a freakin awesome movie.
Same here, it was just so well done. Jim Carrey is a really good actor but his curse is that everyone wants him to make hilarious comedies to make them laugh, instead of making serious movies.

Not me, I want to see more dramas, because he's really got talent. It does seem like people want him in comedies though.

The thing about Carrey is, he's good in drama, he's good in comedies, and he'll start thrillers now (there's a movie on the way - don't remember the name - with him on it, and it's a thriller).

Why they want him in comedies? Well, tell me, who, nowadays, is better than him on comedy? There are some great people out there, but not as good as him. I like The Rock, but there's nothing specifically built for him on this area. Mike Myers is good, but unlucky with scripts - all Austin Powers movies were funny, but could be so much more! Some guys from SNL are good too, but not as good as him...

So, in drama we have more great actors, such as him. But in comedy...not even near :)

The House of 1,000 Corpses was just a low quality ripoff of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, IMO.

Just got done from being dragged to the midnihgt showign of the new Harry Poter movie. The ticket was free, so I didn't complain. Anywho, the movie was actually pretty enjoyable. Since Harry and Co. are getting older, they got to do some more mature humor. Nothing bad, but there was a scene where Ron deliberately is looking at these chicks asses and says "Bloody Hell". Along with a few kind of "That special time of life" moments for Harry and the gang. Oh and I guess when Wizards and Witches gettheir first period, they last and entire year, because Hermione seemed to be on the rag 24/7.

I wanted to see that, I thought it was about Elvis at first, but now I know better.

Any family Guy fans here?
Anyone seen that family guy movie: Stewie Griffin the untold story?

I don't know why but I didn't have the usual family guy charm. It was three condensed episodes and they got to curse but for some reason it lacked something, IMO.

I felt the same way about the Family Guy movie. The first time I saw it I was alone and it wasnt that great, but I watched it later with a bunch of friends and it was more enjoyable.

Saiyah, I wasnt able to see Domino, it didnt stay in theaters long enough.
