Ong Bak was simply more raw,the fights in Tom Yung Gum seemed like toned down alittle in comparison.

I hope the next move is as hardcore as Ong Bak.

Tony Jaa is next big star of martial art movies.

I´m back again! greetings people, One thing: The Protector is the same film as Tom Yum Goong¿??
SAW III - great notice ^o^

I´ve recently watched the trilogy Infernal Affairs and it´s pretty good. About chinese triads.----- 8/10
I´ve catch too, a pentalogy from Kinji Fukasaku called The Yakuza Paper or Graveyard of honour. It´s said that it´s a fucking masterpiece. Tell ya when I watch it.

Whats pentalogy?

"Slither" - Was an entertaining movie and was well made, although I wanted to see more from the aliens homeworld then you got to see :D

"Mission Impossible 3"- Feel asleep for about 5 minutes halfway through the movie, but it was a descent flick.

"The Lake house" - I liked this movie even if it was a somewhat lame idea for a movie :P But you could easily pinpoint what was going to happen next in it.

Sorry, I think I´ve just invented a new word. XDD. With Pentalogy I wanna mean that it´s 5 parts.
And I´ve read it´s about yakuza, in Japanese with subs, because that film hasn´t been distributed out of Japan

But you´re talking about the Takashi Miike version, based in the Kinji Fukasaku film. I´ve seen it too, and I think it´s a excesively paranoic and a little boring

Ah! that would explain why I thought it was a Miike flick. The original is probably better, but I doubt it has the wave of blood at the end.

well, I´m going to explain the best I could. ^^u
Kinji Fukasaku made the film The Yakuza Papers (I found the five parts it consisted of in the Emule with that name "the yakuza papers cd1, cd2, cd3, cd4 and cd5").
Later, not so far, Takashi Miike made a remake of The Yakuza Paper, But I didn´t like it so much.
I´ve got to say too, that the film called The Yakuza Papers, has been called too Graveyard of Honour. And that´s all. XDD. I hope that all of you have understood my fucking horrible english. hahaha. See ya

PD: you´ll need to get the substitles too, because the filme is in japanese

I watched "The Covenant" earlier. It wasn't the best movie ever, but I did enjoy it quite a bit. It was better than Underworld, IMO.

Beerfest - 2/10
It was really lame. Only made me laugh a couple of times, the rest of the time I was considering fast forwarding to the next scene with bare breasts. Dont pay money for this garbage.

Super Troopers was awesome, classic comedy, too bad farva and the gang arent that good in this Beer movie...

Whoever mentionned the Covenant, that movie I want to see, the trailer for it is awesome, dont expect much but it looks like good ol' entertaining teenage mutants fun, bit dark and dorky.

Forget everything you've seen so far in 2006!

Do yourself all a big favor and look up the "300" trailer!

This movie is gonna rock, Troy was nothing compared to what this is gonna be!

Have you read the Frank Miller comic its based on?(one of the most gorgeous and stylish comic ever) And yeah, I have followed the progress of this movie since day one, and its very promising and looks dead cool, ispecially Gerard Butler as Leonidas(the ultimate badass). It has gotten very high praise and reviews in pre-screening too.

Wasnt too sure about the director who made this, a newbie, Jack Snyder, but he seems to have succeeded on this one, and he is about to make Watchmen too.
