I started berserk before volume 27 was released officially, and my 27 was made up of a collection of EG releases. I read all the way up to that point in less than 2 days, while studying for a test. I was a fiend. Only read it all the way through maybe 3 times though. Seen the anime like 3 or 4 times as well.

Well I didnt know about the hawks or anything. The man who is responsible for getting me into berserk would be Fusiongt of http://www.thespectrum.net

I think he does some stuff with snoopycool. Well anyways I was always readin his weekly rotations of berserk. And finally one day i couldnt take it i needed it all. So i searched and i found the hawks. I never had used bittorent before so it took me a while to figure out everything. So i finally had it all. But thehawks took too long. And one day fusiongt got one of the latest releases from EG and had a link back to DP. And thats what lead me to all of your hearts. I've only watched the anime twice and read the manga one time through. I guess you could call me a fan at best. But then again i never reread anything...

I foudn it on Kazaa. Oh yeah thats right. I searched for it on Kazaa, and then found all the volumes, at the time I already owned the first 3 from DH. Now I own the first 6 from DH, I pay for things sometimes, when its worth it. But I found them all on Kazaa and read on. I found a few EG releases on it, and that linked me to thier IRC forum which I went to and downloaded all which I did not have. And then from there I went to the bittorrent site and just downlaoded from there for a while.

Whoa, Congrats man!

I started on volume 15 after watching the anime and thinking it was awesome.. -_-
Then I read the manga and knew that something was going on. I had mostly Hawks Translations but the rest were good old Evil Genius ^^
I spent one day reading it all glued to a laptop screen, drinking and listening to metal at the same time. Of course my friends usually don't just let me sit there.. I kinda have to get up and get blind, but they all liked Berserk aswell and I was drinking anyway so all was good.

That was the first time I read it and everything was just like... "fucking... yes... YESSS!!!" Ah... I miss them old days.

Thanks guys!

Yeah, a friend of mine gave me a couple of CD’s with the first 26 volumes on it. He had gotten it from The Hawks. Then, after I finished reading it, I was like a monster. I just had to have more. Oddly enough, I stumbled upon EG at DP by utilizing my mad googling skills, or something. :P

Ah yes, it must've been fate. ;)

Yeah dude, but so much is left out of the anime. Besides, the manga handles that same stuff so much better. Heh, you know it was worth it.

If the berserk anime was a lot more similar to the manga it would be my favorite anime period. Sure its in the top 5 but its not numero uno.

Yeah, I feel the same way. If the anime was exactly like the manga, it'd be my favorite anime, just like it's my favorite manga.
