Once again I am sorry Darken, but I am going to have to call your bull shit. I play shooters a lot, one of my favorite genres, and let me tell you, Einhander has absolutely shit on Ikaruga and all other Treasure shooters. Hell Einhander gets killed by almost every Cave shooter to ever come out as well. Einhander is a good shooter, a pretty good effort by Square, but they just can not compare to companies like Treasure and Cave where there main talent is making shooters. I mean come on man, Ikaruga's bullet patterns in the first stage blow away any thing in the entire game of Einhander. Scoring is also far more flexible in Ikaruga than Einhander, question is what does Ikaruga not beat Einhander in?? You want to play some good shooters, you pick up a Saturn, and start getting imports. Not a playstation with Einhander and RayStorm. Einhander is just no where near as good as classics like Ikaruga, RGS, Dodon, ESPrade, Guwange, G5, and I am not the only one that thinks that.

The Soulblazer, Illusion of Gaia, and Terrinigma games were underrated. In fact, nobody hardly knew about it back then...

Also, Beyond Oasis (Story of Thor) for the Genesis didn't even get as much credit as Landstalker.

Earthbound or Mother 2 is an RPG set in modern times where you play a normal kid that has a comet fall into his back yard. The first Gungrave game is underrated.

Also the NBA Street games people think it suck cause EA makes them. NBA Street is the only EA game that is good.

You don't want overdose... that game is really bad... but it's only 15 bucks brand new so... it was worth it for me >.>

Don't worry about Gungrave, it is not that good. I wouldn't call it underrated, just mediocre.

Damn good mentions Eldo, Beyond Oasis and Illusion of Gaia are truly underrated games that are just great.

Prince of Persia Sands of time is so underrated that its a shame. I saw crappy games like Enter The Matrix sell more. It was the best game i played in 2004.


By the way i played the sequel to Sands of Time and it is the worst sequel i have ever played along with Devil May Cry 2.

PoP2 was meh ok. The whole combo system just sucked and wtf the game seemed to easy... They could have done a better job on that game. The whole scenery with the dark and gloominess is awsome, but it lacks gameplay. PoP2 is obivously going to compre to Ninja Gaiden, and it falls really short to Ninja Gaiden.

Another underrated one (in my opinion) is Persona 2: Eternal Punishment. It's one of my favourite games, and it's a pity no one has heard of it. I usually give this one out as my recommedation, and most people respond in the most bizarre manner, with those S&M thoughts implanted in their minds.

I'm glad to see the PS2 series are faring well.

How about Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland. The game owns so hard.

Yeah, that's right Femto. You should get your hands on a copy and play it, it easily makes it in my top 10 list of best games.

Kirby's Nightmare in Dreamland for the GBA rocks! Some people argue it's too much like Adventure, but I haven't played that one before.

You seem like the kind of person that I can actually trust on video games recommendations. In other words, I'll give it a try. I completely missed out on most of these PSOne gems. I still haven't played the original MGS and I didn't play SOTN until the beginning of last year.

I'll try to get my hands on Vagrant Story too.

Battle Toads for nes. i still haven't beaten the game yet.... it's hands down the hardest game i have ever played.... EVER! I would just get it to see how hard it is. Megaman's got nothing on this game.

I remember playing that and Avengers when I was young thinking it was the best games in the world. Years later, playing it again, I thought how wrong I was. I thought it was pretty mediocre.

Ooooh damn I got 2 games on Saturn that were the shit. I don't think many people know about them. They are Burning Rangers and Guardian Heroes. Those two games are absolutely bad ass.
