Prediction of Gut's New Allies

Skullnight perhaps. But thats about it. Anyone that is actually an apostle had to have sacrificed a person they dearly loved, just like Griffith did. Guts has a hatred for anyone who has done that.

Human with apostle powers? The people you are referring to I am assuming are apostles. Apostles have a human form they normally fight in, unless they are facing a powerful enough opponent. So these humans with apostle powers you are talking about are apostles.
SK does not have apostle powers. SK is just a bad ass.
And will Guts let an apostle join with him. Short answer no. Long answer "Hell No!"

Skullknight has a fairy scent, which indicated he is different from an apostle. I think you meant that by comparing his powers to an apostle?Balor645 wrote:Skullnight perhaps. But thats about it. I think Azan would join the group. The child at the beach I think is suggesting that the group has a 'guardian angel' secretly protecting him. He'll pop back the next time Guts uses the berserk armour.

I remember we had a discussion about SK (did it ever stop?
)
I've heard a lot of theories about him... But I'm still pretty sure he is also branded.
He also tells Shierke when they meet on the beach that Shierke and Gatz make the same duo as SK and Flora. And it is also certain that he wore the armor. I dont know what he has become, but it seems his brand is keeping part of him in this world.

I actually thought about Void being Gaiseric for a while, and I might've mentioned it back in DP. The guy also has a skull-like face, with his exposed jaw and the lack of eyes, and his hands are very skeleton-like. Also, if Gaiseric was a ruler, he must've been smart, hence Void's huge brain. And what little we know about Gaiseric's rise and fall is similar to what happened to Griffith. I wouldn't be surprised if Miura is trying to make us believe that Gaiseric is Skull Knight by pointing all the arrows at him. We'll just have to wait and see.
I'm almost 100% sure that I've mentioned this before...

I don’t think Miura is trying to trick us. I think he’s just trying to have us figure it out ourselves; instead of having to blatantly tell us like we're stupid little kids. I mean, he’s left plenty of clues. Gaiseric is surely Skull Knight. Look at it like this; in the one picture of Gaiseric that we’ve seen, he was wearing a Skull Helmet. Thus, his whole theme was skeletal. We know Skull Knight wore the Berserker Armor, which manifests itself in a manner to represent the wearer’s psyche. Before Gatts had it, it looked very similar to Skull Knight's current physical state. Plus, Gaiseric had a wise man in a tower, and was torturing him. That sounds like Void to me. Plus, it sounds like the same thing that happened to Griffith. It all matches up. To think otherwise just sounds asinine to me. Anyway, this is just my opinions on the matter. *Shrugs*
Also, we have no idea whether or not SK was branded. We’ve never seen him with the brand, nor do we know if it would grant him the power of longevity. That doesn’t even make sense. Why would some horrible curse like The Brand of Sacrifice have a positive effect? Anyway, we’ve already been over this subject a million times. So, can we just hold off on it until we get some new material to work with?

I lean towards him not being branded, because he seemed surprised that Guts was able to make it out, and Guts was able to stay alive thus far. Well at least that is the way it seemed to me. Also he still acts as though he is bound by fate, where he looks at Guts differently, since he believes Guts is not longer bound by fate.
Possibly what could have happened is having the wise man be someone who helped build the empire with Gaiseric. Since Gaiseric was very military oriented maybe he had the wise man handle all the diplomatic parts of building the kingdom. Had him set up the government more or less. And what probably happened after everything was united Gaiseric locked up the wise man so he could not steal his kingdom from him. And that may have been why he sacrificed the Kingdom was because he was the one who built it. And he sacrificed it to get at Gaiseric who later became SK and he was crowned as Void. But all that is just speculation, and considering I am tired right now, it is probably full of a few holes.
And on this one the biggest flaw I see in this is that Gaiseric already had his kingdom. In fact he had the entire continent under his control. He had achieved what he wanted. Why would he want to sacrifice his kingdom so he could get a kingdom?Femto wrote:I actually thought about Void being Gaiseric for a while, and I might've mentioned it back in DP. It may be possible that SK is Gaiseric. someone wanted his throne though and this someone was in posession of a red behelith. so void might be the one who sacrificed and SK the king who now lives outside of time.

good point there Arresty. i also think he's not branded at all
Gaiseric to me is SK based simply on the armor he's using in that one pic.
another thought i had is that maybe Gaiseric is neither one of them and is simply a character to mislead the readers and keep them wondering. is it Void? is it SK?
the only one to mention him was Charlotte (i think) back when they saved Griffith. i've never seen any other talking about him either

It is possible. Didn't mean to make it sound like I was completely shooting you down. Though reading it now it looks that way. But all I was saying was my opinion as well, and the last paragraph is some major speculation, that could be way off, or on. Probably way off. I can't wait to get more SK/Void back history. Also like some Zodd back history.

Dont know if living like that is positive...
But you're right, we dont know if it is the Brand that keeps him in this world.
Could also be because he wore the armor...
But, im sure there are no more options then these two: Brand or Armor.
Void being Gaiseric doesnt make much sense to me.
Skull Knight being Gaiseric does make sense.
Like Starnum said: Miura doesnt want to trick us... ("Gotcha, idiots!!")
Either way, lets discuss about this subject till our fingers get tired from typing.

das prolly cuz its on the place least expected. sk's brand is prolly on his assStarnum wrote: Also, we have no idea whether or not SK was branded. Hm… Oh, I never meant to imply that there was anything wrong with having your own beliefs on this matter either. I guess I did kind of sound that way though, sorry. It just seems clear to me, but I suppose it could all be a trick.
Gatzz: You know, it’s possible that SK’s longevity could have something to do with something that hasn’t been revealed yet. Just as it’s just as possible it was the armor, or even a brand. Anyway…did you call us idiots?
