I actually think i had the same avatar at one point lol. it looks really good. I think the shading on the armor was well done, very smooth but still very distinct as well. could you post the work with the lines?

and that was an amazing interpretation of the pic sanman

Yeah, I like what you've done there, CowardlyHero. I agree with Sandman though, you should work on the transparency of the lightning bolt-thingy, especially the part that covers the head of the armor. That aside, nicely done.

And er, I thought Sandman was taking a sly dig at Hawk of Darkness... all he's done since he got here is talk shit to the Mod-Hand. :o

i was laughing at the picture and the way you handled his request. it was funny :P. and ya thats something else i meant to mention, the lighting with young guts in it makes the picture very cluttered so it's a little hard to tell whats going on.

First, let me congratulate you. Very, very well done.

Second, the eyes... they seem to be on top of the armor... they don't look like holes ... must be some coloring thing, but that's up to you :)

Whatever you do, keep the color scheme. Do not change it (like add green or red  )

Here is the full pic that I used for my Av... I wanted to see how the gray armor looked instead of the bone armor.

Looks like you changed the Hue/Saturation and then Smudged the lines on the armor to make it look more blurred.

If you look at the origanal you will see that I had to clone most of the armor and some of the spikes because of speech bubbles... I guess I could have tried a little harder to redraw the shoulders but thats not really my thing.

I was talking to CowardlyHero, not you Sandman. I guess I should have made that a bit more clear ;).

The only criticism I have towards your picture of Skull Knight with the quick glance at it, is that maybe you should have made the eyes transition a bit more into the black? Currently it goes straight from a grey right to the black.

Just quickly show a basic idea of what I'm talking about with the soft transition:

almost right. the smudge tool is horrible for shading. its easer to just us the blur tool and add light/dark. then all you got to do is draw around the edges to make it look more crisp (which i havnt done in that pic yet)

Cool tatoo kiraken. :o
First I'm gonna kill Miura. Then I'm gonna kill myself.
Why the fuck does he have to make every picture so detailed? AARGHGHH... Because of that, I have to satisfy my need for Berserk by coloring... and i don't think I'm gonna color more shit from the later chapters... Too many fucking details...
Anyhow, here's something fresh from the canvas.

Btw...excuse my language...and... long time no see. :D

Ogar_555, that's an awesome picture, well done. My only complaint is that the color of Griffith's lips makes him look asphyxiated.

Thanks guys! Love ya! I thought the wind would be chill and griffithesque by making it white. The only thing I'm really disatisfied with is the low-quality way i've rendered it. I could've spent alot more time on it, much like the time I took to render the armour but... I didn't wanna push myself to that...
I can make it look alot better but it would take time I (at the time) felt I couldn't afford to lose. Anyhow, Thanks alot for the comments, sorry for the late reply and see ya guys in about a month! Since I'll be going to japan the next thursday so I'll buy the next Berserk chapter and be amazed at the pictures but not understand shit. (I'm kinda drunk while writing this ;P ) Cheers!
