I hope somebody else comes to help out because Asuma is to cool in my book to die like that.

Also I really dont see the immortal guy dying in this battle or anytime soon. Its going to get interesting with his partner stepping into the battle.

Guess, nobody died. Igan must have killed countless people like that, but he missed it this time, surprise! Typical Kishimoto BS, that's gonna drag the goddman story even more. Again rising hopes for nothing. Don't get me wrong, this new Akatsuki pair kicks all sort of asses, but it's just another let down.

God damn it....why do all fights in Naruto get interrupted lately, seriously, i thought that i would finally get to see some new moves from the cheap-whore look alike Ino or that frankenstein Akatsuki (as Hidan, looked very cool), this 3-tail monster shit better be worth it.

I totally agree, it's bullshit. However, if the next chapter reveals the identity of the leader of Akatsuki, I'll let it slide.

Heh, It was funny when ino popped out. She looks incredibly huge, she even has medical jitsu. Didn't see that coming.

But i bet this will be dragged on like inuyasha. 400+++ plus chapters of nothiness, or at least what I've heard.

I don't know, I thought it was pretty good. Although it wasn't as good as One Piece 430. I mention that because they're pretty similar chapters.

Anyway good chapters I'm glad I stopped reading for all those releases. That was a good read.

Finally a death and on top of that a meaningful one at that. Lets see how this one is built upon.

I think he was the king of the village or something I mean he was a Sabatori(SP?) So now Konohamaru is the king?? Who knows I still dont get it.

Yeah, weren't they talking about sacrificing your king before? I think Asuma represents the king, and he sacrificed himself to protect Shikamaru and the rest of his friends. At least that's how I took it anyway.

I think maybe starnum is close, but looking at this from a chess pov. Not sure how japanese chess works, but you always protect the king with whatever you have left. You sacrifice the best pieces so your king can live. I believe the king are your team mates.

In chapter 314, it is confirmed that Asuma is the son of the Third Hokage. While standing at the Third's grave, he comments on how he's finally beginning to understand what the Third taught him. Asuma confesses that he's always been detached from Konoha, but after seeing how his father sacrificed himself for the village, he is now proud to be a member of the Sarutobi family. This means that Konohamaru is either his son or his nephew. Due to the fact that the age difference between them is only about 19 years, the former scenario is unlikely, though not impossible. There were several clues leading to the revelation of Asuma's connection to the Third Hokage, including:

* The Third is often seen smoking a pipe seeing as he is from an older generation, while Asuma is often seen smoking a cigarette as he is from a younger generation.
* In flashbacks of the Third when he was younger, his facial features bore a resemblance to Asuma, minus Asuma's long sideburns.
* He and the Third share a resemblance in terms of appearance. Note that they both have similar hairstyles and facial hair.

Hm, I looked up shougi, and it appears it is something like Chess. The objective is to capture the king, but I don't know if the pieces move the same way or not. In any case, I think the gist of what Asuma was saying was that some times you have to make a sacrifice in order to protect the future of those you care about, or something like that. Perhaps Shikamaru was the king, heh.
