Episode II put me to sleep after several days of sleepless nights. When I got to the award-winning Yoda fight I was too bored to watch it and lost interest.

I've seen it. I downloaded a bootleg from the net. It wasn't all that great, but it should be fun. Not all that I expected though. The parodies of Martial arts films/novels are hilarious!

...And I got sent a infringement notice from Columbia for sharing and downloading the bootleg. I hadda remove it, and now I'm very cautious of what I download now.
I got a screener on DVD from Toronto.
It's hilarious, but you have to REALLY know all the old chinese stories/legends to get all of the jokes.

Yep, but it's a pity there's so many weak points in the movie. While the parodies are funny (saying the couple were from Condor Heroes was simply hilarious!) I find the plot lacking in substance. The female lead didn't really need to be in the movie at all, and she was only in three scenes of the movie, and even then, she played a mute. Maybe I just didn't like it as much because I expected too much.

PS: He shoulda learned Dragon 18 palm instead of the Buddha Palm! Or that Sorrowful 9 sword technique...

I took the entire movie as a joke when I bought it (Stephen Chow movies are just... known for the gags and not for the substance) so I enjoyed it a lot. That guy has made so much money it's crazy. I also expected the girl to make more a difference, usually the girl causes the "dramatic" transformation. Just a little unpredictable I guess.

Ellen, you can get any asian movie from Toronto, it's why I love living here :D. Btw, Keanu really does suck at acting. I think Maddox said it best when it came to Keanu. He hit it big when he did Bill and Ted but ever since then, he's been surrounded by a bunch of suck ups who aren't able to tell him that he's not good at acting. I saw him in Constantine and of course I'm not the fool to go see that looking for an academy award nominee caliber movie but I did laugh at it hysterically since his lack of emotion is just awesome.

I also forgot to mention, there are pictures out for SW episode 3 and I mean, it pretty much spoils the movie but it won't be a disappointment like the other two were.

Keanu can't act worth shit. But he is a guy who gurantees a blockbuster, kinda strange. But I think it mainlly cause he takes roles that he is good at. People who are like robots, with no personallity and no emotions. He plays them well.

I like the Family Guy with him in there and there is a woodpecker that flys in and just sits on his head and starts pecking.

I am a fan, but he still sucks at acting. But I like pretty much everything I have seen him in. He jsut gets cast in rolls that he can do, and they are always in good movies.

Exactly. He knows he can't act so he takes rolls that don't involve acting. But its amazing that there are that many rolls out htere for him.

Johnny Neumonic was ok but its not a movie that made him big outside U.S.

Bill and Ted is the lamest movie ever and when i saw it on tv,i was like he sure did advance in hollywood. Cause after Matrix he is set for life people will always remember him as Neo and go see his films.
