never heard of a guilty gear anime personally, just games...caktus wrote:where can i find or download
Although it's not like I ever really looked.

There is no actual anime series for Guilty Gear.
There is a 5 minute anime style video, that I believe originally came with the Japanese PS2 release of Guilty Gear X.
It's nothing special, really. Nothing story-wise is revealed that isn't revealed from the CDs, and there is some bad English voice actors at work. If you see the short sequence with Jam you've seen the best part.

It did originally come with Guilty Gear X, the first one. Hence the lack of Ino, Slayer, Bridget, etc.
Edit: I realized while I was tying my shoes earlier in the day that we are talking about two very different things.
If I'm not mistaken, the starter of the thread and I are both talking about a 5 minute animated feature from the original GGX (the 5 minute feature I was referring to), while you are referring to the animated introduction to the sequel. Believe me, they are not the same thing at all.

No, we are talking about the same thing, trust me. It's just that they have the video on GGX2 as well. I didn't realize that it was from the first game. It makes sense now that I think about it though. My favorite part of that video was when it showed Ky and Sol fighting. They were flying around in the air, and it just looked cool. Man, Sol's voice actor is shitty though.
Yeah, because that was his intent. I especially like the part where he thought we were talking about something different, when in fact we weren’t. Darn, I guess it was my fault, especially since I haven’t played the first game, and haven’t watched that video in quite a good while now. Man, I’m crushed. I guess that’s what I get for the momentary confused state. Being told how owned I was, especially after realizing my own fault, and admitting it, is exactly what I needed. Well, I’m glad to be in my place now.

A little bit of trivia for GG fans:
We know that Zato-1 was blinded when he joined Eddie, right? I'm not really sure how it goes, but it's something like that. Well, the word "one" in japanese is "ichi." With this in mind, Zato-1 would be Zato-Ichi, or Zatoichi, like the famous blind swordsman.
I just learned of this a few days ago. Interesting, right? Here's hoping at least one of you didn't know this. It never occured to me, because his name is pronounced "Zato-One" in the game.
