I still dont' see how everyone thinks Lara would be that much of a factor. Perhaps he would want to revive everyone but I doubt she meant that much to him.Libaax wrote:He will never choose a weapon before Kie and Lara.
And when he has revived those and he gets 100 p that manga will end or something.

I felt the same about Blame read the first vol and didnt get anything cause.... nothing happened. It was one of few mangas i have had to give up on.
Maybe it gets good after several vols and the main starts to actually talk or else its the most overrated manga ever.

The ink of a scholar is worth a thousand times more than the blood of the martyr- The Quran
Ooh, I just figured another hilarious twist.. Kurono chooses freedom!
That'd be awesome man.. the others can't really blame him, but would be very surprised, then for a few chapters, life starts to look to be normal for him and his girlfriend (if he even remembers her after being released)while lots of bad crap starts to happen to the others because of the vampires.
The vampires kill the other dude for revenge, and then invade kurono's life, killing him and for the sweetness of irony, he lands straight back into the gantz with no idea what's going on and now no chance whatsoever to save his girlfriend, gives the character plenty of fuel for anger to kill all the vampires and aliens and to get to the bottom of this horrible tool called gantz.
effing sweet.. hope it goes something like that for the sheer 'freaakyy' factor that'd be.. or is that really sadistic and weird of me?
well.. we'll see what happens.. hope it keeps us interested.

Welllll... let's see what he does.
I'm rooting for the easy way out, as that always backfires on the main character, and in this situation that could lead to some pretty heavy stuff.
If he chooses to get everyone out which is already in there.. I'd go omg.. yaaawn.. it's the most boring and most repetitive 'manga-hero-like' option he could pick.. I seriously hope the storywriter doesn't make him do that, as that's just "hey let's put in an endless loop so we can continue this endlessly, and hey.. I have an idea, gantz has been around for millions of years, and the screen they saw with all the people is just the first screen of 10 billion screens, yeah.. I'll make millions of yen just farting out bad fight-scenes with lots of gasping and breathing and the occasional money-shot"
So I'd rather that the main character chooses a way which leads to the end of the story, even though there might be a long time until that end is reached, I feel that 'saving everyone' is just a loop (the writer can always just make up as many victims as he wants), and only leaves things up in the air.
Endings I'd like, 1) he says thanks and goodbye. 2) he says, I'll save the people who've I've been fighting with and deserve to live, and then goodbye. 3) he says, I'll get to the bottom of this whole crap with gantz if it's the last thing I do, and then goodbye. 4) I'll find and kill every single vampire which messed with us and then goodbye.
But as I said at the start.. we'll see what he'll decide..

Not much...the setting is kinda cool though. Its like in the way far future and the main character is stuck in this huge building complex with many levels that are overrun by cyborgs, midgets and what not. Then thats all...nothing really happens cept he walks around and looks at stuff. A full 10 volumes of just looking around at stuff, kinda reminded me about those "poetic" art sculptures that are of absolutely nothing recognizable yet some ppl like them anyways.Devil_Dante wrote:what is blame about?
Edit: And from the ending options above, just think which one will make the series go on the longest. That's probably what will happen

YEEEESSSSSSS!!! AAAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
GOD DAMMIT I WAS RIGHT!
I loooooove this series now, it fucking rocks!!!!!
oh the sweetness of how he'll get back to normal life while the rest get seriously fucked up, and then he gets dragged back in, oh I'll so enjoy it.
The anti-hero's still an anti-hero even though he became a hero for a short while.. love it..
Even though the whole underlying plot is kinda crap, the pure genius in character development and consistency is fucking awesome.
Let the dark-arc begin! Cry HAVOK! the dogs of war shall be unleashed!
