Correct. Main problem with a lot of Emulation is slow down. It sucks. Main problem with trying to go legit is you have to fork over serious cash for stuff like Ketsui. I believe the game goes for 2K or something like that.

I really want a Japanese PS2 so I can get a lot of great shooter ports. But I needed a new comp, so I got that instead. While I was at it, might as well throw down an extra 30 bones to get me a virtua stick and enjoy roms a whole lot more than on some shitty PC controller.

Most of my games are legit. And I am proud of it. I plan to try and get more legit copies of the roms I have right now, just need time and money.

EDIT - Revive.....

Playing Ikaruga and Half Life 2. Finally got a powerful enough PC to run this damn game. All I have to say about HL2 is that it is damn sexy. Best FPS evar.

Nah, it's quite far from the best evar.

It just lacks consistency, imho. Go through this door and shoot zombies. Proceed through the next door and drive a buggy. Go through the tunnel and lead a squad. Often it just feels like a demonstration of the Source engine.

It is a great game, but you have to do every single thing for too long- that hover-boat thing is fun for the first half hour, then you've got to dodge flaming barrels for another thirty minutes.

Dodging headcrabs isn't bad, but two hours of it is a bit much- same with squad-based fighting; you tire of pushing your squadmates up and down stairs quite quickly, but you have to keep going for another hour or so.

The only area done truly right in that game is the Citadel.

Yay!! someone who names the crappy points about the game. HL2 looked awsome, but i dono for me, just never delievered as a contender for the best fps.

(so why you got gordon freedman in your sig??)

pc- Far Cry (looks just as good as HL2, just a shoot'em up fps)
and C&C Generals- this game is hot, im sooo picking up Zero Hour for 10 bucks.

Because Gordon Freeman is an awesome character- too bad he's not even in the games that made him famous.

You guys probably just thought it did not live to the expectations. Game had far too much hype. I think it is damn sexy though. 8)

But any who, FPS is not my specialty, so I will take your word on it.

Almost have the game beat. It is very addictive. :P

I disliked the original Half-Life, so it probably wasn't about expectations being set too high in my case... ;)

I actually never played Half Life 1.

Any who, I think HL2 is sweet. The graphics are gorgeous, the engine is on fire, and the scenarios you go through in the game are great.

I'm too lazy to get on Live nowadays. If I buy a 360, which I probably will, that will change...

I don't suck at Halo 2, but, being an old pistolwhore, I'm not as good at it as I am at Halo: Combat Evolved.

The pistol is so incredibly overpowered and fucking awesome. The only thing you really have to worry about while using it is running out of ammo. Then you die.

I still had a lot more fun with Halo 1 than I did with Halo 2. IMHO of course.

Who cares for Halo any way, I have a good enough PC now to play HL2. :smoken:

I used to have it but I couldn't find my memory card with my Tekken 5 save data so had to start over. Worst extra costume on the game to me was Yoshimitsu's or Jin's.

Tempest man, stop hot linking. It equals teh broke ass pics. Save the image on the comp and then use teh photobucket. You get more success that way.

As for Bruce, he can be pretty nasty, but has nothing to put him on decent grounds against the rest of the competition.

I'm currently replaying HL2, and yes, I admit, that game can be damn sexy- unfortunately they felt the need to put the sechziness right at the end of each level, resulting in a scream of frustration nearly every time "LOADING" pops up.

I recently got Dawn of Sorrow (that castlevania game thingy), and it's actually rivaling my opinion of Symphony of the Night.

Yeah, I can't put it down.

Smash Bros. hasn't left my cube for months, partially because I only play against others now, and it's hard to gather a decent size crowd.

Samurai Spirits IV is in the saturn with Radiant Silvergun and Nocturn in the Moonlight right next to it. The Dream cast has Mervel Vs Capcom 2 an on top of it is Zero Gunner 2.

AGH! It's too much! <_<
