hmmm, i deconstructed my decks but i had one that basically buried my own creatures... then brought them into play from my graveyard. It was black and red, and had gave my creatures haste... so they could attack the turn they came in. anyways it was something like this.

4-Browbeat : one red, two colorless: Unless a player has Browbeat deal 5 damage to him target player draws three cards.

4-Relentless Assault 2 red 2 colorless: Untap all creatures that attacked this turn. You get an additional combat phase followed by an additional main phase this turn.

4-Fervor : 1 red 2 colorless : all creatures you control are unaffected by summoning sickness.

1- Silver Seraph - White 6/6 flying. Threshold : other creatures you control get +2/+2.

a animate deads
3- Apprentice Necromancer
4- burried alive
1 witch engine
1 shauku endbringer
1 balthor the defiled 2 colorless 2 black. 2/2 all minions get +1/+1. tap 3 black and remove balthor the defiled from the game. Each player returns all red and black creature cards from their graveyard to play.

2 dawn of the dead
1 glimmervoid
some other green creatures that were beefy. can't remember the rest. usually i would not play anthing on the first turn so that i could discard a huge creature at the beginning of the second. then i would play a spell, can't remember the name, where each player can take a creature from there graveyard and put it into play. so by the fourth turn or so i had something like an 8/8 out on the board. also it didn't matter what color creatures were really since i just brought them in from the graveyard.

Boomerang is type 2 legal homie. Not to mention echoing truth ain't too shabby. Besides Tooth is a weak deck pwn it with the power of BLUE! Good god it costs them like 11 mana to hard cast it or the 12 plus for tooth there is no reason in type 2 for you to ever let them get it out. It's a little diferent in extended or vintage tho.

Psi: I'll post some decks later me thinks.

Boomerang is Type 2 legal?? What block is it in??

For Type 2 it has to be in the 2 latest blocks and core set right?? Is it in 8th Edition. I think I will go check on that.

EDIT - Whoops, it is in Eigth edition, my bad.

Hoo boy, you have missed a LOT.

After Nemesis, Prophecy finished the Mercadian Mask Block, then there was:

Invasion Block
Invasion
Planeshift
Apocalypse

Odyssey Block
Odyssey
Torment
Judgment

Onslaught Block
Onslaught
Legions
Scourge

Mirrodin Block
Mirrodin
Darksteel
Fifth Dawn

Kamigawa Block
Champions of Kamigawa
Betrayers of Kamigawa

Also, I'm not sure what core set was in when Nemesis was out, but now the Core set is 8th Edition

Yeah, Magic just got too expensive for me. Lots of people only want to play Type 2, which is the two latest blocks and the latest core set, in this case Mirrodin and Kamigawa blocks, as well as 8th Edition. All the sets just kept changing, it was just too much to keep up with.

Type 2 is just a style of play for most tournaments.

You can only use the 2 most recent Blocks and the most recent core set.

I like it because I find a lot of old cards to be over powered.

It also limits the amount of crazy good/infinite combos between old and new cards.

bleh.... type 2...wizards of the coast marketed inappropriately. they shouldve spent that money expanding more MTG camps instead of expansions. that way i wouldn't have had to swap thru many MTG clubs until i found one with members that don't pick their nose while you play them.

I am by far a gaint fan of the darkside. When you have the power to kill things and bring your shit back from the graveyard you must be feared!

Umm, well they ended up writing about 7 or so novels worth of stuff with that arc. I don't even really know everything that happened. What I do know is that in the end there could be only none.

Many of the main characters stayed in the story of Magic. The crew of the Weatherlight (Gerrard, Hanna, Sisay) were in it all the way until Apocalypse. I know that Corvax ended up becoming the new Evincar, and Urza came back into the story. Then the apocalypse came and went, and Oddesy started a whole new cast. Then after the Onslaught Block, Wizards decided to take the story of Magic away from the world of Dominaria (All the events so far had happened on this world) and after that they started on mew and different planets and planes of existance, like Mirrodin and Kamigawa.

Fun combo for multiplayer games... Verdant force with lots of graveyard spells, living dead, etc, etc. You use the sapolings to sac for more graveyards spells, and for the late game bust out an elvish farmer from fallen empires and sac sapolings them to gain 2 life apeice...

When the deck worked I'd usually have out 2-3 verdant forces and a bunch of other big badasses out on the board. With four verdant forces on the board you've got 4 7/7 bad asses and 4 1/1 sapolings for each turn, including your opponents. I'd usually take a guy down after attacking with some 20+ 1/1's and 5 or 6 large ass creatures.

I've been out of it for a long time though, type I just isn't as much fun, and I don't more than 200 cards newer than the tempest set.

I just had to get into this conversation here, Me myself played Magic when the revised edition came out (The first off the first) and stopped buying cards when I think it was the arabians night´s expansion came out.. But not quiet sure bout that, I just thought there came out waaay to many expansions and changing off the rules etcetera. But then about three years later I came into a phase where I started playing again, but never bought any new cards. Now I´ve stopped again

But I still pick up the cards once in a while too give someone a good beating with my Black/red deck.
Nothing can beat a few Nightmare´s and Keldon Warlord´s when you´ve got a spawning pit :P

And don´t forget the Black knight, Not that much off a badass but still I like that card
