Hehe oddly enough, Bogey is Scottish in origin and used to scare children to sleep about the evil monster made of peat that eats naughty children. It was then used the military in England to designate targets "sited possible bogey" and has since been used in the US as well.

Never knew of it as a cig though.

I just got finish reading Vol. 4 thx to Dante  and I have got to say that Guts was foolish not to remeber Griffiths words the day Griffith beat Guts. I think if Guts would have ask Griffith for his freedom in stead of walking away without a word things could have been different. Would Griffith have let him go? It is posible that Guts would come back and expose Griffith later, that what was probably in the back of Griffith's mind. Well he should have let him go with a hand shake and a fond farwell... but I guess that was not in the card.

Would that make Guts the White Hawk?! That would be ... strange....

And wouldn't it be bad if the Brand was completely sealed, because that would make Guts a regular human and he wouldn't be able to sense strong evil and Apostles? It would give him peaceful nights, but that wouldn't make the plot exiting.

Also I had a question, and since I am a noob here I was hesitant to make a new thread about it.

What was Mozgus anyway? He wasn't an Apostle, right? But he was a monster and his executioners turned into monsters as well...

I thought of Guts as the White Hawk some time ago, too.

And without the Brand Guts wouldn't be a regular human or weaker, it's his own strengh after all and he already walks in all the "worlds". He just wouldn't be able to sense them by the pain. But I think he would sense them by other things.

And Mozgus somehow got the Power from the Egg-guy that became Griffiths Vessel for the perfect World. He hit him with a tentacle or something and then Mozgus had this power.
