its just awesome (aside the clothes)
the story is well known here in Europe (a french wrote it)
and i recommendi it to every one
the rips from anime keep are great although anime kraze also has good ones

Im not fond of the OP. It's the ED I want and the bot the ED was supposed to be on is NEVER there

This anime is great mostly cause they have done the count so great and the story is very good to. I also like how the count retells the story so far in french.

The OP song is a great,i listen to if often,the guy who sings have a great voice.

Also Alexander Dumas wasnt all french his grandmother was a slave from Domenican Republic.

i don't like the opening song very much but the ending song is something incredible - the rythim and power are great

Often the text in a OP song is something lame about the stars or something but this song has good text good that actually has something to do with the anime. The ED is good too.

although i read the book about ten times already and even seen one serie (from the 80's i think) i like what they've made with it
is a good serie and i look forward for every ep

Ya the guy who does the OP is the same as the one who does the ED. What's weird is how smooth the transition is with the anime to the ED. I was watching episode 12 and I mean, I've noticed it other times but as the show is wrapping up, the transition from that to the ending song makes you want the next episode now!

The book was the first i ever read,my teacher made me read it and after that i have read almost 100 books,so im grateful for Dumas.

Did you ep 12 from kraze? The torrent doesnt work me but anyway i like anime-keep subs.

Well for people like me who speak french fluently, it sounds pretty bad. It's like the equivalent of hearing english dubs of a Japanese movie/anime, it just doesn't sound right. Ya I got ep 12 from Ani-Kraze, for a while I was wondering what was going on since they released it regularly but it hadn't been out for a while.

i think it's a bit like japanese people trying to speak english

i personaly like the a-keep better
as i don't speak french (but understand a little) it's not too bad but i guess they should've hired a french person to do it

Without the accent, it just sounds so bad to me but I guess I'm used to hearing everyone speak with a french accent.

another great point in favor of this anime is the count
i mean he's just pure evil with his lightning tatoo on the forehead
and the ways his servants treat him (the way they say Gankutsuou) is just creepy

ok, i was reading this thread and i was seeing alot of talk about alexandre dumas and the word count. So is it safe to assume that this anime is related to the Count of Monte Cristo? If so, then this is awesome news because I am reading the book and it is one of my favorite books. Looks like i have to start this anime then.

A guy getting sucked off by two chicks? I don't remember that part but it is the anime with the pastel colors. When I first saw screenshots for it, I was turned off by the pastel colors and my friend kept bugging me to watch it. Honestly after watching 12 episodes, I don't even really notice the different types of art in the anime, it's just an awesome show.
