Is it me, or are most of em just plain rude and retarded?

I bought Blazblue yesterday and some of the inputs don't work, I have my PS3 fairly new so the controller is still a bit on the fresh side so I hooked up my USB converter and plugged a PS2 controller in and everything worked fine.

But these people, or rather "kids" are just so shallow and rude, almost retarded...

As a non-gamer, I can't give you an informed opinion regarding your problem.
What I CAN do is recommend you some pretty sweet games I've played, which, admittedly, are all insanely famous and you've probably played them already so I won't waste anyone's time telling you about them.
Or may be that's what I should do.
Or shouldn't.
I don't know.

Yeah, Gamefaqs is a pretty popular site, tons of users, and so it's mostly full of assholes. That's the main reason why I don't waste my time posting on their boards. I have the original Blazblue game. I haven't played it in some time though. I actually just got a copy of it last night, as I had played it when it first came out for a while, but never owned it. Then just last night a friend of mine gave me his copy. So I'll be playing it more here soon.

Those boards are for trolling and plain silliness. I have never seen an intelligent conversation carry out for more than 3 posts before it degenerates to senseless insults and people attempting to crack jokes (a lot of which are heavily recycled, by the way). Also, people only read the 2 most recent posts and respond only to them, with the rare exception of people responding to the first post only, so the threads quickly become unrecognizable banter.

Surprisingly, the gamefaqs boards are rulled by adults (20 and older) according to a poll they conducted a while ago (I don't remember any details about the poll, but I do remember that teenagers and children are minorities).

I actually know some of the users on the BlazBlue board. BlazBlue has attained a "too popular" state to have a civil board though. Some of the more obscure boards can be perfectly fine, if there are only like >10 regulars. So, basically, what War Machine said is a completely accurate description of the GFAQs boards.

To be honest though, your post at the GFAQs board pretty much asks for it. I'm surprised you didn't provoke even angrier responses.

Well, if you've really been playing fighters since 1999, you know how fighting game snobs are. Especially on terrible forums like GFAQs. Insulting their game is about the worst thing you can do.

Still, even though Guilty Gear > every fighter in existence, at least BlazBlue fucking tried, and didn't water down the game mechanics to the extent that every single other fighter has this gen.
