That's not a penis...that's the chainmail covering his hamstring and inner thigh...

This may not be a chain mail penis, but I think it serves a similar purpose ...

It's funnier when you know who it belonged to. I've seen that armor in person and the cock piece is like 10 inches long, no fooling.
Henry VIII you dumbasses, what other English king would it make sense for?
Show of hands, besides Herald, who knew the answer?

appears to be truth, but leave to the herald to know who wore a suit of armor with a big cod piece ;)

after casual Googleing of that apparently he was erm larger in other areas then norm

Let's refrain from asking why Herald knew right off hand the answer to that. It's probably safer if we don't know.

the suit is on display at the castle at dover. i toured it back in 06 and it still hasn't left my mind, that damn suit of armor with that huge coffee mug of a cod piece. it's probably because it belongs to the most famous european king from that era, but also because it really makes no sense to me. i mean, c'mon, wouldn't it make riding a horse pretty difficult?

The reason he had trouble producing a male heir was because of an issue with his blood. That's why most of his male babies were either still born or miscarried. The females had less issues simply because of the fact that female babies are healthier and stronger. The same blood problem was why his one son that did survive him died at an early age. Good thing his line died with Elizabeth I.
