I personally think people give tablets too much credit, especially with coloring. I bought one for over $100 only to find out I suck with it! I'm so much better with my mouse. I guess it just takes practice, but it's really bothersome. I mean, it's not just like a pen and paper, cause I can actually draw with those.

Might as well post this sketch here. I know a broken Dragonslayer is taboo but, I hope the application of its use in the image makes up for it.. D:

Griffith's face kind of reminds me of a K's Choice song whose chorus goes, "Break my face, my back, my arm, my neck but please don't break my heart."

Hahaha Great sketch!!
That's right!! Another pointless post by me bitches!!! HA!

I redid the first picture that I made (well the first successful one at least).

Image

and here's a wallpaper and a different version with a weird background:
http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc14 ... 1024-1.jpg
http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc14 ... r1MB-1.jpg

Someone on theblackswordsman.com forums was nice enough to post a link to this website
http://lnx.berserkchronicles.com/
which has tons of pictures.

edit:
oh ya I forgot this one. I made it awhile ago, but didn't post it because I didn't think it alone was worth a new post.
Image

EDIT:
A picture that I drew and colored. I'm not very good at drawing, so I chose something simple.

My new background for work! I bow to you sir, as you are a master of coloring and a rabid Berserk fan as well. A perfect combination.

Nah I'm no master. This guy is though:
http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=np9sCrVf3a4

completed picture:
http://toronn.deviantart.com/art/Nosfer ... o-75827005

He's also got one other Berserk picture:
http://toronn.deviantart.com/art/ZODD-44091125

I'm saving and slowing down that video to learn from it. I'm also going to soon take a drawing class. I want to be able to make my own art instead of stealing the poses from Miura.

My rendering of the eclipse, while Griffith is transforming into Femto.

I still can't draw/paint/photoshop people though.

Well, very simple but still cute IMO. I tried to do Farnese's face but it just never got right, so I gave up before I definitly ruined it.
Ah, and please ignore Puck.
I know it's not that good, but what do you think about it?

edit: DrPepperPro your colorings are very good! I saved them all into a browser specially created for your stuff amongst the fanarts I have ^^

It's very good. Drawing is always nicer I think because you get to see a new scene.

and here are some more fan arts from deviant art.

I've posted a few of this person's stuff before. If you look at his/her account you can remember them.
http://vee209.deviantart.com/art/Guts-A-study-96311215

Nice picture of the berserk armor.
http://hyunwook.deviantart.com/art/Bers ... r-96193545

Griffith

Griffith and Femto

Serpico
http://yontory.deviantart.com/art/color ... o-96988141

Casca and Puck
http://cut-box.deviantart.com/art/protector-41062750

Great collage-sketch, mainly of the eclipse.
http://squirrelmafia.deviantart.com/art ... t-72027739

Griffith and Casca pictures using real life textures.
http://mega-devastation.deviantart.com/ ... h-66540770
http://mega-devastation.deviantart.com/ ... a-59622922

A bunch of sketches by the same person. One of them I've posted before.
http://drpepperpro.deviantart.com/favou ... k-pictures

3 pics - Griffith, Casca, Judeau. His painting style is very nice, but he draws them too fat and weird looking (although I think it was intentional).
http://bardoftheseas.deviantart.com/gal ... -Portraits

Someone on theblackswordsman.com worked on this with a friend, and put it on his wall.

And this picture is made by me. It was not intended to be related to Berserk, but I just had sneak that in there.

Well, it doesn't look exactly like Casca, such as the structure of the face, but it's very nice for what it is. I like it! :)

Interesting to see the long hair (a la post-Eclipse-retard-baby-Casca) combined with the armour (a la pre-Eclipse-Action-Girl-Casca).

Maybe a premonition? Let's just hope that Caska will be back in (armor-)action soon again.

Yes it does......structure of the face....LOL.

I'd imagine that's how she'd look with armor in the present.

Thanks for comments guys! I'm glad you could appreciate it.
It's what I imagined Caska might look like when she's sane and back to her ass kicking goodness.... We can only hope that will be soon.

This isn’t Berserk related but this is my first attempt at painting in painter and its somewhat connected with Griffith.

Very nice, the colors really bring life to that picture, and the Griffin ain't bad either.

Yeah, ok, no offense to the artist who drew that painting, but you can't compare that to the level of detail in Miura's art, and the shape of the face isn't exactly the same. So, NO, it doesn't look EXACTLY like her. So laugh out loud at that. Not that there's anything wrong with it not looking exactly like her, Miura's level of skill would be hard for anyone to match, I imagine. If you can't see that, then I would have to question if you've ever actually seen Casca or read Berserk. With that said, it's a very nice piece, and I imagine that's what Casca would look like now if she were to don her armor once again as well. That would kick ass, let's hope that happens.

The dude's second art is actually a picture of a griffin, not Griffith.

How dare you question my devotion to Casca and my obsession with the Berserk Manga!

I now only dream in B&W.....
