OMG, so fast! Thanks guys, can't wait to get home from work to start torrenting :D

And I thought the "OMG Its so huge" preview pic that Psi posted in a thread here was fake because it was so funny in the context of Griffith raping someone as was talked about... I'm psyched to find out what is so "huge"... :D

Holy dude! That was lightning fast guys! This is so awesome! Of course you lucky yankees get turkey day down there, while I get to spend all day writing an essay about a play written in the fifteenth century then going to work. Though, I did have my day back in October. Thanks a million!
Oh geez, now my mind is totally blown
The good think about the delay of 291 is that we are having a berserkoverdose. Now lets read the 292. Thanks EG!

Gee, I don't know.....does flesh-eating mist kill people?
May be you didn't noticed, but the guy disintegrated like....2 seconds after he said that. But you know what? I think he survived.

LOL.....j/k.

PD: Thanks for the lightning fast release EG!!! This chapter is awesome, and the end makes me wonder.....Is he somehow sacrificing his Empire?

Hmm, the man made behelit, wouldn't it just be a rougher form of a pure behelit? Like ore before the iron is purified? Because, technically in the Berserk world because Man created the idea of evil, then wouldn't he in essence create the pure behelits, even the Crimson Behelit?

BTW....does Griffith still own the Crimson Behelit? If not, then where is it?

Interesting how the Emperor's "man-made behelit" resembles nothing so much as a smaller version of the Idea of Evil's fleshy core.

Thanks again, guys! I loved reading the ads, too-- it's always interesting seeing another country's advertising, or even looking at advertising from one's own country from a decade or two ago. It's like a tiny little snapshot of popular culture from that exact time and place.

Thank you Santa for bringing me my X-mas gift early. Woot!

Question though, page 2, bottom left panel "My scar aches"... is me being figurative or literal? I'm assuming figurative about his encounter with dill-hole errr I mean Griffith.

I'm gonna look up that Detroit Metal City. Looks hilarious.

I'm assuming literally, since he's holding the scar on his face Guts put there when he tore through his mist form with the Dragon Slayer.

Also, about the "Til next time!" everyone keeps mentioning. The last time we got one of those was September of 2006, and we didn't get the next release until January. It was a long, hard four months. So be prepared to hunker down and tough out a long wait. Might not be a bad time to re-read from the beggining, maybe even a few times.

I think that might actually be a better analogy, frankly. A behelit is designed to bring a potential Apostle into the Abyss at the appropriate time, so that they can make the sacrifice. It's basically a tool of causality. From what we've seen it is the ceremony and the intervention of the Idea of Evil that does the actual "upgrade" into Apostle, and that upgrade is what the giant flesh mound seems to be supposed to duplicate. Basically just a device to pour lots and lots of "evil energy" into something in order to shape it into a powerful monster.
