Steeples scrape the sky, Praising God.
Everything here exists for God, is sacrificed to God.
For those who have nothing to sacrifice,
It can be a very heartless city indeed.

Heh, that's messed up.

Avulsion, are you Japanese? Btw, I'm sorry you're surgery that didn't go so well. :P

(I have a spell with the same name.)

I'm not Japanese, or your spell, and am anatomically correct.

St. Maartens is an island in the Caribbean that's a little ways off from where my brother goes to medical school. It's a tourist island that is very beautiful, but this video shows one shortcoming (or is it interesting enough to go check out?) of a beach there...

Warning: It gets VERY LOUD at the end...

but that's expected of jet engines.

This should maybe be on the politics forum but I'll post it here.

http://thinkprogress.org/2007/06/26/edwards-coulter

Four and a half minutes of poignant (or hilarious, depending on your sympathies) slaughtering of the most vile of creatures, Ann Coulter. The most enjoyable thing I remember seeing on a screen since...forever. Too bad it had to end so abruptly. It might exaggerated, but if I was american, and had to point out someone who personifcated whats wrong with my country, she would be one of the first I'll think of (her and Fred Phelps, but no one gives him legitimacy, different with...whatever she is).

Ah, the Adam Carolla show, I haven't listened to it much now that I'm on vacation but it's a cool show.

Anyway, here's some Chappelle:

And some Mitch Hedberg:

I was trying to find a different video of Mitch on Conan O'Brien but I couldn't find it on youtube; luckily, I just found it on google video, so enjoy:

Good for her, those ebay-ers are really pushing it. Concert tickets have become very expensive because of those people.

Changing topic...

Apparently, this book is supposed to be taken seriously:

The Global Warming Survival Handbook (preview pages from the book)
http://liveearth.uk.msn.com/green/galle ... =1#5417018

I really like page 8, which is actually the last resort (the pages aren't in order), and it doesn't take the maximum amount of effort either.
