Well, it was just an additional episode for the final DVD release in Japan. Whether there will be a sequel or not depends entirely on the creator and Japanese TV higher-ups deciding whether its questionable content can last another season. Well ADV has done some unusual DVD splitting as of late. The entire Gantz series was split up into two episodes per DVD to make money. So I'm curious how they'll work it out. I think the point is, however, that they're currently doing it for free. They're far ahead of the only other group to work on it. I'm glad to read what chapters I can get myself.

Offering money simply gives them more incentive to release chapters more frequently.

I've noticed via hongfire.com that there are raws of the manga past Volume 9 yet its been a while since the Volume 3, Chapter 23 update. Is Elfen Lied a lower prioritized release, per chance?

Also, I'm a fairly decent editor. So I could possibly help out with the edits for it if needed.

The word is that it'll be released in Japan on April 27th. The only other information I've heard of it points to it being a Nana themed episode. Since Elfen Lied has been liscensed by ADV Films, I wonder if it'll appear on one of their DVD releases.
