Re: Berserk 325 - Merrow (2)

That could be nice, but I feel like since there are quite a few characters now, it would sort of get tedious or you could start to get desensitized as a reader to the idea of having 1 char dying at a time; besides, if that happens the story would probably be lengthened considerably. I guess i wouldn...

Re: Berserk 325 - Merrow (2)

That's exactly why Berserk is so appealing, it's unrelenting and ruthless at times. The more pain there is, the better the story tends to be or at least Berserk is like this imo.

Re: Berserk 325 - Merrow (2)

In truly berserk fashion, it would be great if this whole group just got killed in eclipse like fashion (except maybe casca). Now that will do a number on guts

Re: Dark Souls

Yeah, so I followed the call of the undead and got myself a copy. I'm playing as the warrior mainly cuz after reading several reviews, combat seems to be melee oriented and there seems to be all kinds of weapons. although combat isn't as combo oriented as dmc or ninja gaiden, does it get old? Do you...

Re: Dark Souls

haven't played demon souls, but i REALLY want this one. I'm wondering how is it in terms of direction? From what I can tell, you're basically thrown into this massive world and you aren't given objectives or any idea of where to go. Is this true?

Re: Berserk 306 - Fantasia

I guess they wouldn't be mortal men anymore, would they ... then they'd be something akin to gods, and the cycle continues. Maybe if there were a creator sort of God type thing in the Berserk world ... like before idea. That's what I'm interested in, the before idea, and humanity, and all that. I t...

Re: Berserk 306 - Fantasia

Hm, I beg to differ. I think it may not be omniscient, but it probly is close to being omnipotent. How can man destroy something that is created from his misery which has and will always exist in the world? It's interesting as someone mentioned that the armor could be more powerful. This could reduc...

I'm sure this is well known, but I happened to watch a part of Escape from LA and Solid Snake is pretty much ripped off of the main guy of the movie (Kurt Russell). His name is Snake Pliskin, has an eyepatch, and even his voice sounds similar to Solid Snake's. Solid Snake's voice wasn't always like ...

it's a "he?" thought it was a "she", after seeing the name jenearly FightClub: the part you're looking for is around vol10-12 or 13. Hopefully, this will help your search. Btw, I could see why you would want to show that to a friend as that is one of the manga's more brutal momen...

Why not ? If PS3 keeps realesing good games who cares what Xbox 720 and Wii 2 does? It was the same deal with PS2 being older while Xbox and Gamecube was newer and better but did the 100 million PS2 owners care? Me i could care less about the console being new or old or lasting 0000 years as long S...

Someone earlier said that the ps3 is supposed to last a decade... even if that were true, that already sets a limit as to how games can be made for it. Sooner or later, xbox720 and wii2 (hypothetically) may be coming out and I don't think many will still be interested in what the ps3 is pumping out ...

My question deals with the traitor Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus so that he can die on the cross. He was destined according to God's plan to betray Jesus. See I find that horrifying that he was born and lived solely for this doomed fate of betraying Him. Anyone have ideas? I don't think he was ...

Ok, even if He doesn't cause bad things to people like murder or paralysis, I think sometimes, it seems like He tests people. If something bad happens to someone, how will they react? In some cases, the person will get pissed and that will draw them away. However, there are a few who will end up get...

I agree that there has been more development with this new groups and there is somewhat of a development in regards to the story. Still, regarding the new characters, although they had plenty of development more than the Hawks, they lack right now in showing their humanity. With the Hawks, it was ea...

I know that you don't have to sleep in a bed, but I'm a conventional person and prefer to play it according to how the game is set up. I love this game but one thing that really bugs me is the stupid level up system. I hate how you can level up accidentally and that makes the enemies a lot harder. Even so, it's a great world to explore.

In some ways, I agree with Femto that Berserk's new group members are pretty lame compared to the Hawks. I still dread having to read the balloons of Puck, Isidro, and that other fairy fearing that another lame-ass joke will ruin the moment that the chapter may be trying to develop. I mentioned Puck...
