Re: Berserk 301 - Confusion

I wouldn't get your hopes up. I get the feeling we're not going to see any serious development with the Gatts Tai until after this business with Griffith is concluded. It's called building up tension. Well.... I call it sadism. But no, I think you're right, but it's just the way Miura wants to do t...

Re: Berserk 300 - Sorceress of the Hawk

Great release, guys. I was expecting something of a treat for chapter 300, but I'll take what I can get, anyway. The drawings are awesomest, as usually. I do have to agree, though, that Griffith's story is hardly exiting at the moment. Now if I were to read the manga in one piece, with all these cha...

Re: Berserk 299 - Inhuman Battleground

Great chapter, thanks EG. I have to say Miura's drawing's are just the awesomest. It's a small wonder he takes so long. Probably each drawing has tens of thousands of lines. But he's right with his way. Ultimately he'll go down in history and all the bleaches of the world will probably be forgotten....

Re: BERSERK-the black swordsman fan movie

Yeah, pretty damn awesome, for a 0-budget thing. You guys must have put a hell of a load of sweat into it, and all for pure and simple pleasure. For this kind of thing (and while it's easy to be critical, and I generally am), my expectations would normally hang far lower, so you managed to totally b...

Re: ::Claymore::

Well, while I can't say I like the way Raki looks now, it was sort of predictable that he'd turn up again in stronger form. For some drama I had hoped he had already become an awakened being or something like that. At least he could have ended up being more like Guts, and not smile like an idiot aft...

Great release, great chapter.
Miura certainly managed a twist that I didn't anticipate. I had actually thought Ganishka had it mostly figured out. Of course he was a bit mad, but THAT mad?
Especially since ol' Griff doesn't seem in the least concerned. But I am really looking forward to seeing how Griffith will fight.

You're right. The didn't fight Riful, but in turn, Riful could do nothing to them. Still, I imagine it should be a while before they will be able to take care of an abyssal, while normal awakened beings are not that much of a challenge anymore.

I don't get all this "terrible blow" business. He died. We can respect his achievement. But he wasn't even running any D&D related stuff anymore. And WOTC will murder D&D anyway with 4E. There is nothing he could have changed about that, it was long out of his hands. His death is n...

Re: Best Jdrama

I watched SP recently. It started quite nice and had some nice fights, but overall it just didn't deliver. It also had a really bad ending, unless there will be a season 2. But the female lead (well, the only woman in it, basically) is just so damn hot.

On a similar note, I have to say I won't be hosting any direct downloads anymore. The reason is that for once US law is better for internet users than German law. In Germany, if any lawyer finds I am hosting this stuff, he can send me something like a C&D letter, even if noone hired him to do it...

Re: Gunman shoots 17 people at Northern Illinois University

Oh come on, the whole world doesn't think Americans are all homicidal maniacs. The problem is that America, even with a probable 99.99% peace-loving citizens, still breeds an increasing number of individuals who ARE homicidal maniacs. And it seems like there's no way to stop them.
