Lets get down to it shall we:
The official website for Hakusensha’s Young Animal magazine announced on Thursday that this year’s 13th issue of the magazine will publish a new chapter of Kentarou Miura’s Berserk dark fantasy manga on June 24.
That’s right, June 24th, so mark it on your calendar or carve it into your skin because it is time for EG to get back to it!
Miura had resumed the manga as a monthly series last July, but then put the series on hiatus again when the new television anime project was announced in December. The announcement had said that the manga would return this summer and Miura would then publish the series irregularly.
So the excuse last time was that he was busy being an executive producer of the new Berserk anime project. My only thought is that one of you sacrificed what was dearest to you to get Miura back to story telling. I hope it was worth it, Griffith.
At least the hiatus is over.

It has been 4 years since I’ve been apart of Evil_Genius and I am proud of everything that we have done. However my time these days is limited and I can no longer act as the technical liaison for EG, so I am taking a step back from the scanlation community as a whole to focus on my new life in Belgium.
I am pleased to announce that my replacement will be Mr. Arke and he is the right man for the job as he has been with us for many years. Things look bright for EG and it will continue to release Berserk and more far into the future for that there no doubt.
I’ll poke my head in from time, but I’ll no longer be the goto guy with the banhammer. ^_^

Much like the PBS (Public Broadcasting Service) or NPR (National Public Radio), Evil_Genius relies on you all to help keep the lights on for the server and the bandwidth it uses.
There have been a few very generous donations in the past but they are far and few in between. All donations go directly to hosting/server costs, replacement parts, and the few phone calls that are needed to get someone’s attention when something bad happens.
