Blood+

The latest and greatest of Japanese Animation. Found something new, or perhaps old and arcane... if it has to do with anime, it goes right here.

Yeah, it´s two diferent worlds, although Blood + is heavily based on the original story, you notice this even more if you read the manga, whcih is awesome to read by the way, i found it by chance. =P

Certainly a good thing that the show does not cultivate a menagerie of immortal side-line characters.

Somehow thought it didn't touch me at all. When that Shiff girl died I found it much more touching. Well, she was a chick, so what....

Same here, even though I really didn't care too too much about riku he was starting to get on my nerves.

Bets are open as to who will die next:

David (1:10)
Fatty(whatever his name is, he's stupid, that's enough, so he's probably unlikely to die) (1:50)
Julia (1:5)
Kai (muhahaha) (1:10)
Haji (1:5)
Reporter /Annoying chick / both (1:100), don't think they will die.

Saya (uh, I don't really think so, but.. for completeness' sake :). I'm quite certain something will happen to her at the end, though.) (1:1000)

Some stupid guy in a suit (100:1) :)

I was very surprised to what happened to him, i mean rape from Diva wasn´t on my "what to expect" list and since Haji told to Riku that he would stay by Saya side forever and not him, i thought he was going to live through the end, in fact when Haji see Riku´s body, he kinda gets pissed in his own way.
It affected me more because iwasn´t expecting it unlike the schif chick..

I´m 99% that Haji will die, David too.

Ep. 33 was great. The plans of Diva's chevaliers are starting to get fully into gear, or so it seems, and it looks like some greater battles are approaching.

yup.

The stupid thing is, this show is good the first time you watch it, but if I ever rewatch I'll be fast-forwarding all the time. Why did they have to make her so annoying? Just when they had made her a little less annoying, they turn her back.

Well, it´s still better then the pussy she used to be, she gets to kick some ass while she get´s all dick lone wolf.

Also, lol at Diva´s publicity at the Burger Sing.

Edit: Oh yeah, what exactly are Diva´s plans? Does her chevaliers are convincing other countries that the Corpse corps are the best solution to kill the Chiroptean and when the time is right, they use them to invade the world or something?
It´s the best i can come up with.

I don't think Diva has any plans at all. She's just a bored cruel little girl.

Her chevaliers however are quite the schemers, and will probably use their growing influence in different governments for some sort of evil plan. Wold domination may be at the end of that plan, but I'm sure there will be initial steps that can be foiled by Saya or the remains of Red Shield.

I'm also waiting for Julia to return to David.

Yeah, especially since the professor turned out to be a fucking psyco.

That's not the reason. In fact I believe she wanted to be a double-agent from the start. She wanted to know what they are researching, and the best way to do it was to join them.

I don't think she ever betrayed Red Shield.

Edit: Ep 35 is out. Shiff vs. Corpse Corps.

Shinsen is on a releasing spree, eps. 36 and 37 are out. Saya is a little back to her old self. Just still a little weak. I don't get it why she doesn't drink more blood to get stronger.

Ep. 38 is out, too. This somewhat compensates for the lack of Ergo Proxy.

It stills confuses me in how Saya will manage to kill the remaining Chevaliers and Diva.
Let´s assume that the enemy characters that first fight are the weakest so far, like Karl, Solomon and James (Amshell i won´t count since he trashed both Saya and Hagi like nothing).
Karl who is probably the weakest (or second weakest since James is the most recent Chevalier) can beat both Saya and Hagi alone and only didn´t killed killed Saya because of Solomon, James too and he had to be gang raped by 20 guys to be killed and only didn´t killed Saya because of Solomon again.

I mean, Nathan seems to be very strong, he treated James like a bitch the whole time they were together, we saw what Amshell is capable of and Diva looks to be stronger then any of her Chevaliers.

I can´t wait how it will turn out though, that is what makes it interesting.

I also can't help but think Saya and her gang need a serious powerup.

things changed but still remain the same. david is back to normal, kai is still worried over saya, saya is brooding and whiney as usual, and haji never changes.

i am only on board for the music score and production value.

where does haji get his blood(strength) from, if he keeps letting saya drink his blood?

I don´t think that things are the same from the point we´re on but i´ll agree that Hagi got pratically no character development.

Well, Hagi thawed a bit towards Riku initially, then obviously after Riku's death he would take a step back. However, I still think he's inclined to work with people, and doesn't want to stay as isolated as Saya.

And you have to remember, guys. Hagi has been running around completely unchanged for a while. After a certain age a character does not change so easily. Saya with her lapses of memory can change, but Hagi remembers everything. His character development has been consistent so far, although I would have also wished for more changes for the rest of them.
