I read Berserk scans only cause i was already on 28 vols+ when the first book came out in english. It will take 20 years before DH realese the vols we are on right now. I of course collect Berserk.

Vagabond i can read the scans but i dont cause i support my fav mangakas when thier books are out in english.

Thats why i said your leechers, cause i dont see how you can like vagaond and read the scans when the book version is only 3 vols after japan but thats me.

OP i buy the swedish books who are on vol 33, so we are actually ahead of US and NA MUHAHAHAHAHA

well, i dont buy english books anymore at all but i do support the japanese business (however indirectly) by buying tanks. I must have at least 100 tanks. I would buy vagabond and actually did try to get volume 23 but the seinen tankos are much more expensive than the shonen tanks and i spent way way way too much money on manga that particular time. I did buy volume 22 of the slam dunk kanzenban, on a related note, so some of my money helped him out... (besides, i make no qualms about it. I am most definitely a dirty leecher)

Hehe i am a dirty leecher too, i just feel less guilty cause i buy some of the books when i can :P

It is possible, of course, to be reading scans AND buying the most recent volumes as they are published. A scan is no substitute for a hard copy, espescially not for brilliant works such as Vagabond or Berserk.

Exactly, which was why i was suprised there was people reading the scans of Vagabond.

Of course you can read the scans and then buy the books.

But its something magical reading the books for the first time in your hands.

I wish i didnt read the scans of Berserk before DH realesed the books.

Cause lately, i reread the first vol by reading the first book from DH.

It was awesome reading the book.

well, our official stance (ko-scans at least) is that you guys should go buy the volumes as soon as they come out. I am a college student so it is tough to set aside any money for manga but ill try. Vagabond is worth it.

Also, libaax, i can only read some of the manga that i buy so it is mostly for collectors purposes until i actually can read which is when i plan on becoming only a translator and get out of the editing manga business because it is incredibly annoying.

On the up side, it looks like the entire Yoshioka clan is actively intent on killing Musashi before he can leave Kyoto. Should be one hellish fight.

Yeah he is, but I think he will serve some purpose to the end of this story... did he give the deaf kid his samurai cert I forgot, he will probably get in the way of a fight between him and Tanzeo but I guess you never know what part he will play

The only thing I can see him doing in the future is:

1. Betray Takezo again
2. Kill Otsu out of spite
3. Involve his mother, leading to her death
4. Die a lonely death

And no, he still hasn't given it to Kojiro. He's been using it (I think) to make a name for himself, and I don't think he's willing to give up his delusions of grandeur just yet.

My guess is that he is going to help Takezo against the yoshioka school.
