The story of the greatest samurai to ever live, Miyamoto Musashi! If you haven't read this, and you like period dramas, then check this out, because it's one of the best!
Yes it's awesome. Kenshin should cry in a corner in shame.
I don't think half the toilet seats in the world are as clean as I should like; and only half of those are half as clean as they deserve. - tsubaimomo, July 26, 2010 3:00 am
Yup I read the 10 first vols too and I totally agree : it's definitely the best samurai story around. I also recommend to read the book that inspired the manga... errr... don't remember the name. "Stone and saber" or something.

Well that's my opinion anyway. Kenshin's too much talk with morals, while Vagabond's just hard core action and of course, more realistic. Plus I love the artist ever since slam dunk

Actually, I like Kenshin more, but that’s just me. Vagabond isn’t to far behind in the running though. It’s still in my top ten, and that’s saying something. Anyway, Vagabond is just as talkative as Kenshin. Have you seen the fight with Inshun? Vagabond is very philosophical, but I love that! There’s so much to kenjutsu then just swinging a sword around. *Taps forehead*
I lean towards Vagabond because it's written by the guy who did Slam Dunk.
And Kenshin was...well...too kiddy compared to Vagabond. That's what I think anyway. Vagabond was way deeper.

If you're saying that there were super human skills in Kenshin, there really weren't. Of course the techniques were embellished to make them see like super human skills but they were just normal techniques.

Superhuman is for example his ultimate technique, a move so fast that you cant avoid it and almost everything he did was superhuman skill,hi speed, everything. It was good and cool but not so realistic. Its still a great manga but just not compared to Vagabond,BOTI.
