*bitch slaps femto*

Find where I duped a thread, I dare you.

I have preserved one piece of information and I plan on doing more, but the interview has never been duplicated here in it's entirety.

I get it now. It seemed weird for you to do something like that.

Don't worry though, I'll be here when you actually do slip, and you will remember the name of Femto!

Hm, probably want it translated to English as well, although the modchip helps. I personally don't care about it, I don't have a PS2 to begin with.

Then get a Swap Card. It works with Berserk, I know it.

I've cracked open my PSX and installed a 8 pin chip and can say that the landings are VERY small. I used magnifying glass and had to find a smaller solder gun. Thankfully, it turns on and works.

With that experience, I'll abstain from modding my ps2 until. Unfortunately I don't play enough games for me to invest that much time and risk ruining the system. :(

There are solderless solutions though, apparently someone is selling a USB attachment that bypasses region lockout. Just google for it.

wats wrong with playin berserk game in japanese :D
its all good, its kinna hard to understand at first but you'll get used to it later on hehe ^_^
i have not beaten this game yet since i had no time but summer is coming hehe

for ps2, if you don't want to install the mod chip, go with swap disk, pretty good [in case u don't mind pop the disk in and out =) ] - i am lazy so i installed th duo 2 chip :D

ps: if you have a modded ps2 and would like to try berserk japanese version, pm me, i'll try to make a copy and send it to you - but u gotta google to understand words in the game as i already forgot (will look up again when i play it in the summer though)

azncloud: No illegal goings on man, I just don't want to see it. If someone took the time to go get the ps2 modded then they can also buy the game. Support the people that make you happy.

The japanese in the game is truly neglible- the menus are in english (although the "raise the level" one is in japanese, but "ba-sa-ku lv1" is only so hard to translate), and if you've got three years of japanese under your belt the overly simplistic mission objectives (at least as far as I've gotten in the game) should not pose a problem at all.

The big "if", but it's not that hard even if you couldn't understand it. It's always that run to blinking point on map and then to the next one. :)

I think Sony fixed that with series 12 models(the usb bypass), but there is a nice solderless solution out there that does some pretty neat extra stuff <_< don't ask me what they do though I guess it's for homebrew, but it's suppose to be pretty much 100 percent compatible and can be turned off and all that jive. I'll probably have to get my Berserk ps2 game from "other" means since I'm not keen on on paying 80 bucks for the game. The Dreamcast game came here so it should give us some hope... right?

80 bucks?

And the Korean version is slightly cheaper than that, even.
