Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid

The latest and greatest of Japanese Animation. Found something new, or perhaps old and arcane... if it has to do with anime, it goes right here.

I have no idea, the releases haven't been in any way regular lately, even anime-shrine have had weird gaps, but that MAY be the airing times.

It's just the airing time for that particular episode 8 was irregular, it was aired in Japan on September 14th late night 12:10 am, around 3 weeks after the last episode. Otherwise, it's aired weekly. Next episode should be aired in Japan on the 21st.

I'm not particularly sure why episode 8 wasn't aired on its usual weekly basis, probably took a break or some complications with the schedule or something.

I see. Thank´s for the info.
Maybe it was some other Series that had a 1 hour episode that hogged the weekly spot :D

The episode was great, and this show is getting to be really ambitious, but I'm not glad.

SPOILERS AHEAD

I hoped they would keep the lesbian sechs twins!!! Sure they were creepy, but they were also kind of cool. And it seems this show is really serious about being brutal. Even for a bad girl to be strangled so helplessly....

FMP 09's out. I'm downloading it right now at 4 kb/s, I've been capped for exceeding my download limit. :(

I can't say I blame him much, although I don't understand why he's so pissed at his Arbalest. Whenever it had to work, it worked.

I'd really like to see Chidori kick some ass on her own though.

11 is out, haven't watched it yet.

Edit: Another mixed bag ep.

Sousuke should get his act together. Or they could let Chidori pilot the arbalest :)

Some 'dramatic' and 'shocking' lead up to Sousuke's past from what I watched, a satisfying episode, although not the best. Seems like this series is all about character development for now.

I don't really mind the character eps. The trouble is that they offer nothing much new in terms of general anime character eps. It's mostly some young guy coming to terms with himself and the world in general. In this show they are not done badly, but it still has this "been there, done that" feel to it. I should rewatch the first series to see whether it isn't even being redone from there, we had that sort of eps there, too. I must say I like the general feel of TSR more than the first series, but if they don't pick up a bit, I'll just be bored.

Quite frankly I found the character of the whore Sousuke meets more interesting than him at the moment.

Yeah I like the whole feel a lot better then the first season.

Souske didnt say that much at all in this episode.
If they switch to Chidori in the next episode im gonna be a little bored I think. What if they switch in between these two in the 10 upcoming parts... *sigh*

I also hope they won't continue devoting a single ep entirely to one character, some switching would loosen up the rather slow pacing right now.

Ohh crap, seems like episode 13 is the final episode.
Cant help but wonder how the heck they are supposed to wrap things up in 22 minutes though.

Was a nice twist to put Gauron back inte game, even if it only was for a short period :)
