So yeah... I've been a busy bee the past couple of years. One of the projects I've been working on is OpenMW, an open-source game engine that you can use to play Morrrowind. Check it out: https://openmw.org/en/

We started from scratch, so none of the original bugs in Morrowind exist anymore. The graphics look better and we even offer our own CS (construction set) to make your own game or mod. We've got cell-preloading so you transition smoothly from one cell to another ala skyrim/oblivion, we got really far view distances, shader support (so you can even make PBR - physics based rendering shaders) for your modding pleasure. There is even someone working on multiplayer support via server/client setup.

We've made a lot of movies showing off our releases, here is one:

To show off the shinies here is another one:

Have questions? Ask them!

I'm looking at the CS editor video and I wanna cry. I worked on the New Vegas GECK editor to make a few mods and it was a nightmare just trying to make it not crash.

I love Morrowind and just installed SteamOS on an old frankencomputer, so this is extremely my shit right now. You're good people, psi.
