Im not cause most of this kind of list is always topped by a manga that you have never heard of.

Well i have read 9 out of 10 mangas in that list. 20th Century Boys 18 was crap compare to Berserk 28.

why do you guys think 20h century boys is so good? ive only read about the first few chapters i think but i didnt get into it... anyone know why?

anyways teh reason why its prolly #2 is because of the unexplainable ABSENCE if action in the last few chapters... whats the deal with that?

A manga doesnt have be good to top this list you know i have seen mangas that sucks top that list....

20 cth Boys is so good cause its made by the same guy as Monster.

Also people who like Berserk they buy it no matter what happens in the latest volume, it could be simly cause more 20 cth boys reader went to their manga stores this week ;)

Not really. I didn't expect Berserk to be number 2 in the WHOLE of Japan. That itself is a great achievement! While it is disappointing that it's not no. 1...

Eldo cant you update this thread with the latest list now and then just to see if Berserk reaches nr.1 someday.

At least it means that the comparatively slow chapters in vol 28 didn't deter people from buying the volume. If anything, it proves that Miura didn't misjudge his audience completely.

I've always wanted to know exactly how popular Berserk was and, considering it's content, #2 is a very surprising number.

Berserk vols are normally #1 when they come out.

I found it kinda strange that other comics like Naruto aren't on the list. Is there some sort of listing that separates them? Or the sales isn't as good?

by Starnum
There is a category that separates them. They get they're high ratings in polls about why people buy the magazines they're serialized in. ;)

Oh, I see. It was kinda odd, I know there is a category, but I just don't know what it is.
