Um...It'll be a better idea if you start your own group. We at EG only specialise with translating mangas to the English language, and nothing else.

You can contact Wandering_Mystic via PM if you're translating from the EG releases that he had translated. If you're starting from volume 1 and onwards, you don't have to ask us for permission for those. We were not responsible for scanlating the volumes, only the recent chapter releases. Note that the Hawks is NOT Evil_Genius, we are two different scanlation groups.

Just wondering, do you guys need a raw provider since I can see that you guys have been handling with Jump Scans instead of Tank Scans of FMA. If you guys need just give me a PM on irc or a reply on the forums. My irc nick will be s4d, you can find me in #null or #manga-heaven

Just to add on, I can translate Chinese to English but I won't be really fast since I'm currently quite loaded with work and translating for other groups.

We are translating the latest chapter coming from Jump for now, I don't plan on doing the volume scans until I get a steady and stable translator on it. And also an editor willing to edit the volume. We could obtain the raws from udanraws or from other providers, thanks for offering.

If you are interested in joining, you can feel free to send me a PM and give me an estimation on how long it will take you to translate a chapter I give to you with your workload in your calculation. Otherwise, I do appreciate the thought anyway. Don't force yourself if you're too busy, the last thing I want is to burn anyone out.

If you are planning to use tank releases than i could help you out. I cant really handle jump releases because they are alittle to grainy for me. However, i have been wondering, Is leveling the jump scans the same thing as tank scans except with all the spots still intact? and then after you level do you just black in the spots?

The extent of editing is very quite minimal for volume scans. Probably the only thing involved is removing the text.

yea, i figured that for tank releases, but my previous post was geared more towards cleaning jump scans

I already have editors for jump scans, and the editing is quite different but the fundamentals are there. I don't really like to give explanations so ask someone else for that.

I'm interested in the translation job and fulfills both listed language requirements. I am fluent in Chinese and have entry-level understanding of Japanese, although I don't get to use either Chinese or Japanese on a daily basis regularly so I have no idea how rusty I am at the moment. I also have some editing experience in the form of journalism/publishing classes, but it's almost been a couple of years since I last touched photoshop. Drop me a line if you guys are interested or still looking to fill positions.

I was sure I answered your PM to me ages ago, but it seems the email did not send, as I have no record of it.

We do need help on translation, I'll swing you another email very soon.

EDIT: I send it to the email you gave me before, hopefully it will reach you this time.

hi there, i am applying as a Chinese/English translator. Chinese is my first language, and i should be able to do both simplified and traditional.
I also have been living in America since eight years ago, so my english shouldnt be much of a problem.

We already have a Frenchmen who is the subject of abuse...I mean, discuss the rich cultural history and French expressions and suppositories with.

You can't replace Albator, no one can, and no one will.

Wow you have so many people that can work for you now.

Are they waiting for the order or busy working on something?

Sorry pal, but as the great Leader said, there can only be one representant. Positive selection and all that.

I'll take you on a sweaty wrestling match to prove I'm worthy, and if you ever win, I'll lend you the Meg. The price is that big.

In french rules you can grab balls. Don't try me, you won't like it.

Or would you?
