Sweet! I tried some old game (Final Fantasy XIII I think) on the PS2 emulator and it wasn't running smooth at all. I'd kill for getting to play the Berserk PS2 game (although I wouldn' understand shit)...

Swap Magic or Mod-Chip are the easiest way to do it, and don't worry too much about not understanding, most of it is from the story so you'll know what's going on.

Anyway, I was playing Bioshock yesterday with a code that gives you the Wrench Jockey 2 tonic, and the cool thing about it is that the effect is cumulative. So every time I pressed F12 to get the Wrench Jockey 2 tonic, it would increase my wrench damage to the point where I could kill a Rosie with one wack on Hard. Apparently this effect carries for almost every tonic, like Sport Boost, which made me run so fast not even the last boss could catch up with me. You should really try the codes they're a lot of fun.

Its better than last time as this time I can actually play the game and hear sounds but there are still 2 big issues and one minor issue that are preventing me from continuing from where left off:

1) The sound is still buggy
2) NO FMVs
3) The HUD is pink

Otherwise I'm able to play this game using a gamepad, and despite the less than 30 fps it is still playable.. much better than my last post
I have a picture of the plugins I'm using if anyone is still interested

PS2 emulator website: www.pcsx2.net
related website: www.ngemu.com - has the list of plugins availible for the emulator as well as the ones I'm using

Right now I'm seeing how FFXII will work on my PC

It's not a funny story. Right now, PCSX2 is powered based on your CPU, and not completely optimised to the hardware as it's supposed to be. So even if you have an awesome video card (which admittedly does help increase your speed), the fps is still limited by your CPU. The public betas they release do help out, but there may be bugs in other games as a result, and it's not entirely stable in games and when accessing the interface and making changes to the settings. The only games I've tested are the ones my neighbour has, which includes FFX and Disgaea, and they work fine.

You are most likely right. I tried to use the SSE3 option in the graphics portion of the Configuration (even though the program said it detected SSE3 support) and the program crashed but when I left it at SSE2 it worked fine. I'll just have to check in on the development to see if there are any new updates and what not. Hopefully the sound issue will be sorted out because the FPS seems to work fine as of right now. I've also got KOF 95 for the PS2 and it works quite well.
