This is a Ted video by Will Wright, the creater of the Sims about his new game Spore. it looks VERY cool. i'd check it out

I thought that Spore was shelved for an undisclosed amount of time?
Edit: Never mind, looking it up it just got pushed back almost a year and a half from the initial release date.

he says in the video that it's near compeltiong. he actually plays the game while he's talking. here are some youtube links.

someone on youtube also said that it is scheduled to be release early next fiscal year (around march or april), but that is youtube hearsay so take it with a grain of salt.

you're telling me. I think i might get a job and get a kick ass computer so i can actually play this game when it comes out.
