Wait, what the hell are you talking about? Tell me you're joking, that just sounds too stereotypical. Dude, you have to have a permit to conceal a weapon. You can't just walk down the street with a gun strapped, even if you are licensed, and it's not like just anyone is permitted to carry either. Correct me if I'm wrong here fellow Americans. The right to bare arms doesn't mean you can carry them in public. It just means you're allowed to own one. Rifles can be transported for hunting, if kept in a visible location. Otherwise you need a license to carry and conceal one, especially a handgun. Most civilians don't have a license to carry firearms, which means you better not be caught with one in public otherwise. I don't even think the majority of Americans own guns, but I don't know the statistics. I may not be entirely clear on it, but I know if you're caught packin heat they're gonna trip balls on you. Even if you had a licenses, you wouldn't want to go around with your gun out, unless you want to scare people and get the cops on your ass. If you're caught naked they're just gonna laugh at you and take your ass in.

Oh, and public indecency is only a misdemeanor, unless you're in a school zone or something. Also, gun laws are different depending on the state, so I'm not sure what everyone's policies are, but what I said is the general gist that I get, heh. Just thought I should mention that.

Of course is was, kinda, joking. 'Twas a figure of speech. I KNOW that you cannot run around with a gun in america without a license, and even if you have the license you aren't normally allowed to carry the gun in public. But I also know that gun laws are much stricter here in europe than in america. And also, as a rule, in the US if something has to do with sex it is heavily discussed, ogled upon and very often, censored. Just look at what Hot Coffee mod did. I remember the quote of some old lady, which said according to Jack Thompson: (paraphrased) "OMFG I bought my 12 year old this game [which is supposed to be 18+] and while I do not have any problems with him playing it and killing hundreds of innocent people in there, if he is able to see a very pixelated scene of sexual intercourse, MY RAGE BURNS LIKE HELLFIRE!".

Here in Europe, Hot Coffee was like "Meh, neato.", maybe it got some newstime, but only about the whole rage about it in america. Never was there a discussion here to ban or modify GTA because of Hot Coffee. There was, and still is, however a (very one-sided) discussion about the ban and cencoring of many video games, GTA included, because of the violence. ManHunt and Condemed 2 are on the index in Germany even (index means it may not be advertised or sold anywhere at any time, not even to adults, nada - funny, or rather sad aside: Hitlers "Mein Kampf" is NOT on the index. Damn politicians).

Of course there will be liberal people in america which don't have a problem with sex in games or general. Just as much as there are gunloving people in europe. There were some massacres at schools in germany in the last year to "prove" that. Not every american is in Jack Thompsons corner.

Just so you know, I like to play with words. I'll use a figure of speech, sarcasm, a pun, hyperboles, irony, satire and what-have-you whenever I feel like it or I find writing it funny and/or witty. Granted, sometimes the statement won't have the effect I aimed for because I maybe worded it wrong, seeing as english is not my native language.

Generally, when you find me "stereotyping" I'm usually just making some odd joke, or use it as sarcasm, irony, or whatever fits the context.

Aether: No worries dude, I figured you were joking. I'll agree, I too think it's stupid that we worry more about nudity than violence in games and movies. That's just ass backwards, IMO. I think showing a sex scene, even pixelated, is a bit much for a kid to see. However, I think the human body is a beautiful thing (usually) and there's nothing wrong with seeing it in its natural form. I have a daughter, I don't care if she sees some boobs on TV, but our politicians think that's such a big deal. Yet you can turn it over to SciFi or something and see people getting ripped to shreds by monsters and aliens. That's just backwards, don't you think? Maybe someday when my generation and the next come into power, we can get this country in better shape. I can only hope so. Unfortunately we Americans loathe change, for some reason. That's why we still don't use the metric system >.>. Also, it wouldn't matter if I had a little boy instead of a girl either, nudities not a big deal in my opinion. Wow, let me catch my breath after laughing so hard from that. Think about it logically, if I, a pretty nondescript dude, do a very well done Slan or Farnese, wouldn't it be doubly impressive? And no, I was not thinking of actually being naked as Slan ( because then you'd see the fake boobs ) but make a body suit. And if you think Farnese's ball gown would be easy, you would be sadly mistaken. Luckily those things have enough underwire to make anyone look like a busty young woman. I would rather be Roderick, as you all know, but I was thinking greedily about what would wow the judges. In any case, I'm gonna put cosplaying on the backburners for a while, I've lost my interest in it. Up here in Vancouver Canada Berserk is unknown, no body knows it. Hell, no one even knows classics like Macross or Akira, or even Dragonball. Dragonball was on fuckng ytv for 10 years! I hate anime fans. I may do a Berserk thing for the Chicago or St. Louis cons, but only if a baseball game's on at the same time. Until then, dolls are my forte

I've got my berserk stuff on there as well including all the cosplay pics,my merchandise, and omake. Its funny as I graduated almost 2 years ago and they JUST noticed. They informed me the purge will be going on about Nov 10th. All the files and directories will be gone so everything I linked to this site will disappear as well. I still have most of the pics/files on my computer but I don't think I'll re-upload everything over again.

So if you want to save all the stuff you want off of there before it goes bye-bye.

I also need a suggestion as to where post new pictures and stuff related to Berserk. Any suggestions?

Let me explain, that pic is from 3+ years ago. I weighed about 170 lbs when it was taken. Currently I weigh about 230+ lbs and constantly gaining. I hope to get up to 300 one day. I take pics periodically to see where I've improved and need improvement.

But like, what kind of sword? The dragonslayer? Because I'm 150lbs and I can fight with a French Longsword, the kind that every nameless dude in Berserk uses, but bigger. Casca uses a straight sabre, and Griffith and Serpico use a rapier, I think. Longswords were popular just before the time period Berserk is sorta based in because of their strength and sheild capabilities. The kind of thing Guts would have used when he was a preteen, but as we all know Guts is crazy and has always used a huge ass sword for his size.

A straight saber? I've never heard of such a thing. A saber has a curved blade similar to a katana. I think you got it backwards. Griffith and Serpico use a saber, and Casca uses a rapier. The sword I ultimately want is a lifesized DS, which would weigh over 200 lbs if made accurately. But I would also settle for the type of sword Gats has when he fought with Caska after he came back to try and salvage the Hawks.

Okay, you're right, there's no such thing as a straight sabre, she's just using a really skinny broadsword. Griffith's style is rapier, but he may be using a sabre. Sabres are thicker than rapiers, that's about it, but they both have edges. Though, I think sabres are double edged while rapiers arent. What you're thinking of without an edge is a fencing sword, or epee style. Those are basically useless in any kind of combat, only good for formal fencing. Then of course there are the short swords, which are about as long as from your wrist to elbow, double edged, broadsword, a little longer, but you still use a shield. The last is a longsword, my specialty, which is much longer and thicker, and usually more blunt, but you don't use a shield. Aren't the french annoying

Though Casca used a slim two-sided broad sword, I would certainly describe Griffith's and Serpico's weapon of choice to be rapier to go along with their fencing style approaches......you could throw Zorro in there as well.

Okay, so like with all sword types, there are some exceptions to the rule. So I guess some sabers can have a straight blade and a double-edge, but Griffith's sword is curved with a single edge. I think it even has the hand-guard. I'd definitely call it a saber.

No you were wrong the first time. Its a strait broad sword.

Nah Prince is right, a sabre is curved if anything Griffith wielded a Sabre, Caska a long sword. Just the hilt of Griffith's sword gives it away if you ask me.

EDIT: Lonewolf, btw if you want to wield a sword 200 pounds heavy, good luck, you'll never lift it off the ground. As an exercise try lifting even a Olympic Bench Press bar (weighs about 50 pounds total) from one of the ends. At most with your hands 1 feet a part, if you can lift that AND swing it with your hands the way I mentioned, congratulations but because all of the weight will mostly be far away from you and your upper body strength is a lot weaker when your hands are away from your body, so what I'm trying to say is you won't be able to hold a 200 pound sword away from your body, even less swing it with your arms without seriously fucking up your joints and ligaments. All this even if the sword was balanced (which is impossible to balance such a big sword and wield it).
