Going on a limb here: Metroid Prime = Best game of last gen.

I like the second better as far as pure gameplay goes but Metroid Prime completely blew my expectations away.

I laughed at the notion of a first person Metroid and Retro just slapped me in the face with the game.

Amazing soundtrack, amazing graphics, fantastic gameplay.

The game would be perfect if it weren't for the tedious last boss and the Artifact scavenger hunt.

Scanning was fantastic.

The game didn't force you to follow the story by sitting through retarded, long-winded cutscenes.

The story was there if you wanted it.

All you had to do was scan shit at your own leisure.

I missed Prime on the cube, but I am going to play it, and possibly the sequel, now that one of the few big Wii titles, Prime 3, is on the horizon, comma, full stop.

Thats is exactly what it thought the game was from the trailers, but i was wrong. It is a First Person Platformer/Adventure, and Metorid Prime did a VERY good job at that. However of the last gen? not sure since this is a PC game, but im gonna have to say Warcraft 3. Tooooooooo many hours of single player, hours of dota and many more hours of gaming with friends.

Killer7 is near unplayable.

It remains as the only unfinished game in my library to this date.

I'll beat it some day.
