This was a really cool episode. Granted I got annoyed every time it showed Shikamaru struggling with Tayuya, b/c it wasn’t advancing anything, but the fighting between Kimimaro and Rock Lee was very nice. Yes, it was very nice on the eyes, as well as interesting.

Yeah, so that special sucked. The beginning was all right, but then it became another freakin flashback fest. I'm really getting sick of that. They could've fit all of the new material in one episode, how lame.

Well, I’m enjoying these recent flashbacks, because it’s showing stuff about Sasuke’s past that we didn’t already know. Well, we knew some of it, but these new details help flesh out the back-story. Anyway, it almost makes me forget that I’m totally pissed at Sasuke, heh, almost.
