new forum, new layout maybe?

does anyone else wish that maybe this wouldn't resemble the old forum so much?

does anyone have any other phpBB styles that psi and Evan could use?

You can head over http://www.phpbb.com and browse some styles, just give links to those you'd like around.

But well, the best would be for someone to make us a personalized skin.

Exactly, this colour set is very well suited for berserk. I liked this forum, and hated the baby blue that DP put in.

Well, the forum is mostly for EG, but it's still hosted by Mindwerks.

Similar deal to DP, except more dedicated I guess.

But meh, a EG decidated logo w/ a small mention mindwerks & all prolly wouldn't hurt psi29a ;)

Note: it doesn't have to made made in the same style as BBTech, the top of the page can be arranged to display the thign nicely ;)

(Btw, still waiting after "extra" (non default) pre-made styles/skins suggestions (like bbtech, subsilver, etc... that you people would want added).

after weighing options, I felt it was better to make it the mindwerk's forum. Reason why, because everyone that uses mindwerks would like a place to chat and ask for help talk among themselves. I never got myself motivated to do anything untill the departure of EG from DP.

I offered my server/time/bandwidth to EG for not only does Mindwerks host the [Evil-Genius] website, but also the forums as well. The main difference in my mind is that we have two admins and not just one like in DP. One of the admins is myself, I control the Mindwerks and Gamers section, while Evanidus and through Evan, Oro have complete control over EG part of forums.

This itself is what made the switch over to here so easy, because EG didn't have control over it's own forums on DP. At least here, EG has domain over it's own material, after all, this is here for you all.

Just to say that two styles were quickly added

Aeolus (slightly modified default Aeolus style with EG banner)
and
subEG (based on subSilver, gray'ed out colors + EG banner)

Normal BBTech with mindwerks logo and unmodified subSilver are still available as well.

Those were arranged quickly anyhow, suggestions and customized themes (make one!) are still welcome.
