Samurai 7; Broken Saints

The latest and greatest of Japanese Animation. Found something new, or perhaps old and arcane... if it has to do with anime, it goes right here.

Samurai 7; Broken Saints

Post by ZoddsNo1Fan »

Just recently got into these series and both of them are worth watching. Excellent artwork, storylines.

The Broken Saints series isnt really an anime as it is a styleized comic. Stills mixed with text blobs and flash/renders give it a unique story form as still gives you the depth of storyline(think manga brought to life). The plot and characters have deep intellect and i can see most people who read these forums liking this series.

The story spans different cultures, from Mid east to Urban sprawls in a large circle that binds four charcters to the destiny of the earth(apocalypse/end times type of plot) . I just finished the first dvd of three (six hours all together) and have to say this is amazing. This started out being a free gig online and people liked it soo much they made it into a dvd(which im glad i bought today) Top notch voice actors, has won many rewards, great artwork. I recommend this series.
