I agree, i want HDTV goodness.. however, I'm without GITS at the moment and this was the easiest to find and also great to share on forums.

Great movie. but i was pissed off since it didn't go with the other GITS movies that talks about the mearning of life and other deep shit which I love to death. But this was based on the anime and it was still good since I'm a fan of the anime series. I had to watch it again and again since GITS story line goes way to fast for me to keep up with all these names and problems.

The manga, anime(s), and movies all run off of separate plots really. I really liked innocence. Batou=ass kicker. And it looks from what I saw that they're using Motoko as a main character, if it continued from the movies I doubt you'd really be seeing much of her.
