The last Pokemon game I thoroughly enjoyed was Pokemon Red.

The rest of the games were too similar in gameplay. It kind of reminds me of the Megaman Battle Network series.

I personally have no idea what this game would be like, but I hope there are at least some changes made to the format or gameplay that refreshes the franchise.

From what I've read, gameplay is going to be exactly the same (unfortunately), at least as far as combat is concerned. They're adding a bunch of new shit to spice up the game like Wi-Fi combat and trading (with voice chat!) though.

I haven't played a Pokemon game outside the first ones, so that's fine with me.

They also added a shitload of evolution to pokemon who don't need evolutions like adding a grass and ice type to eevee

When i stopped playing this game there were only maybe 200 pokemon. Maybe 151, I remember i had mew-two and chibi on pokemon gold.
And owned pokemon gold, blue, and played yellow.
