See, the problem lies within the fact that no one was talking about MG, but rather MGS. Thus, your attempt at being a smart ass was a wasted effort, sorry.

Anyway, was there actually anyone here who didn't know that Snake was based off of Kurt Russel's character in "Escape from New York"? I mean, Kojima has officially stated this himself. Meh, oh well, snake still kicks ass.

Well no, I usually call MGS just Metal Gear anyway. However, it does help to differentiate between the series. *shrugs*
