The backround story isnt the most original but so far it has been interesting.

Zedd is a 15-year-old boy who lives in Calm. He is frustrated by his current daily life and feels that somewhere out there is a place where he can live more fully. One day, at the invitation of a mysterious wind, Zedd dives into a space-time crevasse, seeking the "answer" that might be there. Riding on the wind, he arrives in a world where warriors called "Shard Casters" fight endlessly with each other, using magical crystals called "Shards". With the power of the Shards, the Shard Casters are able to use magic and control monsters called "Spirits". Fascinated by that power, Zedd also aims to become a Shard Caster. However, he still doesn`t know that residing in his body is "Amil Gaul", a mighty Spirit with the power to influence the world`s future.

Most shonen fantasy animes story sounds stupid.

Kiba is alot more than that recap.

Well I have watched 2 episodes so far and it doesn't seem as bad as some are making it out to be.

Yeah its better than it seems cause of the backround story makes it look like it isnt good.

It gets real good after ep 4.

Hehe no kidding.

I must say i liked it when the story focused on Noah. Cause his story arent about fighting or becoming stronger as Zed wants ala Naruto.

I want to know more this world.

Started to watch this series, and its pretty interesting at times. But I really cant see the use of the spirits, was only in the first episode that a spirit actually attacked his masters human enemy after having defeated his spirit. In the latest episodes the spirits fight eachother and then just stands there like a bafoon.
Anyway. episode 9 is out

So now Zedd has 2 spirts the new one is pretty cool. I still prefer the other one tho.
