I don't think so. He apparently uses Minato's seal but I might be wrong on that. Next chapter will be quite something. With almost 100 % sure we can say that Madara killed Kushina by extracting Kyuubi. Poor Naruto ...


BTW anynone spotted in chapter 498 "magical" wristband on Kushina's wrist?

I think he was able to use the wood element because they were inside of Naruto, so it's almost like an imaginary space, and Yamato was helping. So I assume the wood element was coming from Yamato and not Naruto, that's the only thing that makes sense to me.

i dont think it was so much of him useing the wood element... but im haveing trouble thinking of how to phrase it, i mean this is all in his mind so i just thought it was symbolic of him winning over control of all the chakra or something

Its crazy how much the quality of Naruto has increased over that past year and a half.

We finally get to see the fourth use his techniques in a battle situation. Very impressive can't help to think that the way he intergrates things is just similar to narutos style. Where the fourth uses flying thunder god naruto uses shadow clones.

Yeah but this is still a let down. I expected some major ass spanking introduced to the fox instead we get kinda weird fight with Madara. At least he land a hit on him and this will not take long. I hope so ....

hrm, i actually like seeing more of what madra (or tobi) has up his sleeve along with what the 4th can do. seems like a a fun fight and we might get a chance to compare father to son before long

Seriously giving his life away just like that at the beginning of the battle with that forbbiden jutsu seems pretty shallow . And i was just joking (or rather that was my honest wish and we still didn't see Gamambunta on the field so hope is not lost already:P).

Everyone has always wandered about this fight and the circumstances behind it i am glad we all finally get our wish... oh and if you haven't seen the newest chapter you are missing out ... now if only Miura would do the same and tell the story of Void, Slan, and the rest of the god hand and Zodd and Skull Knights origins too... but I guess I am dreaming... it going to be a miracle if he even finishes the current story... just got to have faith

I personally liked the angle of Minato having to fight Madara in shadows forcing him to expend his chakara. Of course showing that he was indeed a great ninja that used the best of his abilities and even gave Madara problems. Would have been cool to see him hang around then alot of what has happened to the leaf in this manga probably would have happened.

Very true it makes Naruto's back story all the more tragic... I will probably cry when they end up fusing with naruto before they die.

side note: like the fact that now we know where the leaf symbol came from.

Best cover throughout the whole series?

Never felt pity of empathy to the main character but this pic just shows how nice things could have been for him, had not the damn Uchihas gone rogue all the time.
