Everyone knows about the Berserk ps2 game right? Well, a while back I had a chance to get the 'branded box' version of the game from japan... which was about $200USD.

Came across this on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/PS2-BERSERK-MILLENN ... dZViewItem

If anyones nuts about berserk, looks like a great steal so far. Now I feel bad for paying 200 for mine!

I was randomly searching ebay for Berserk related stuff and I came across the 'desperate attack' statue going for 299.99...
I splurged. Heres some pics of me taking it out, and let me apologize for the abundance of pics (yeah, I was excited to say the least):

This thing was a whole lot bigger than I thought!

Alright! Onto the good stuff! :headbang:

No wonder Zod is so pissed off... hes a Ken doll.

Sorry its a bit out of focus, my camera isn't that good.

Metal sign of authenticity.

And there you have it. My 2nd favorite Berserk statue. The best one IMHO is the one of Slan holding Guts right before he blows her up. Can we say obsession? :D

#How fitting this post was my 300th... statue cost $300 HA!#

Is Gut's hair completely black? Oh noes, you have to turn it back! :D

That's one kick ass statue, man. I'm jealous.

Do you have another picture of the metal sign without the plastic wrapper?

Yeah, that's a cool statue. I hate when people complain about the lack of male genitalia in anime (and statues I guess). I mean, do you really want to see their junk that badly? :P

Hate is such a strong word. Does it really bother you that much?

And did you even stop to consider the feelings of those, like myself, that might in fact prefer the whole package so to speak (for aesthetics reasons of course)?

Anyway according to my sources, special editions of the Guts plushie come complete with a beaf bayonet made for stickin' to his apostle biatches......

Yeah, his whole hair is black... I think. I put it back into the box. I'm only going to leave it out when I get a nice dust-free display case.

I didn't take the metal sign out of the wrapper... that would have been a good idea huh?

As for the picture from beneath Zod, I was only joking about the Ken thing. I particularly don't care, but just liked how the picture came out. Hopefully I can sucker a friend of mine to let me borrow his fancy expensive camera to take better shots.

Why would anyone want a Guts plushie with the genetalia? Isn't that going a bit overboard and wierd? I can understand if it were a statue where he was fighting naked (though I can't recall that happening) but other than that it gets pornographic and wierd, as toys and stuff go. Personally I'm amazed at your collection. All I have are the Guts and Griffith plushies and a Judeau and tiny black swordsman action figure. Though, I don't really have the money or the space ... Anyways, about the Zodd, I also don't remember ever seeing his member the way he was drawn, he was always too hairy and blacked out down there.

I picked up this Kubrick set, the Kubrick set, from a disused corner of a shopping mall in Sapporo a week ago (DS Lite for scale).

Today, I caught a glimpse of a Black Swordsman art of war statuette for 14 000 yen, which I will probably pick up and ship home next week, along with a similarly-priced Zodd statuette.

Though unrelated, I might also cave into this horrible urge I have to buy the most amazing thing I have ever seen (slight hyperbole), a half-meter tall custom Evangelion statuette which clocks in at 50 000 yen. It might be too big and fragile to mail home to Sweden though. :(

What's kubrick? The only Kubrick I know is Stanley :D
But that looks just like a LEGO dude. An awesome Guts LEGO dude of course!

@lon3vvolf: That's the statue you sent me a picture of over the PS3 network some time ago right? Awesome, it didn't look that huge on the photo!

Wikipedia wrote:Kubrick is a line of collectible block-style figures and associated products created by Japanese toy company MediCom Toy Inc[...]

MediCom has released a likeness of Andy Warhol, as well as Kubricks in Eames patterns and Pantone colors. They also offer Grand Theft Auto III and GTA: Vice City sets.

Tatsuhiko Akashi, founder and president of MediCom, developed the basic Kubrick with a former employee of LEGO. The first Kubrick figures were representations of characters from the manga and anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion, released in 2000. Since then, hundreds of Kubricks have been produced.

Yes sir thats the statue alright. I have no where to put it in my room so its sitting in its box for now. When I move out it'll be the centerpiece of my house/apartment. :D

Only 350 made I think. Just keep an eye out on Ebay. I found this one by accient and did the 'buy it now' for $299. Yeah, that put a dent in my wallet.

However, my favorite statue is the one with Gats and Slan right before he shoots her face off. I found it on the French Ebay site going for over $1000! Sadly I'm not rich at all.

Is this for real? He seems to have sold them in the past and got positive feedback. Even if they're bootlegs the price is unfucking believable: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... gory=99992

I wish I had $16 right now...

I think a friend of mine bought that same figurine for 20 bucks, I think. It's not cheap because it's bootleg, it's just the cheapest figurine there is. Very simple, but it's ok.

I ordered a shirt from http://www.customink.com using this picture
http://vee209.deviantart.com/art/Nosfer ... d-81347650

front:
Image

back:
Image

On the back picture, it blends in perfectly because they remove black from the picture. But on the front I guess they didn't because it faded inwards towards non-black, so it would have looked weird no matter what they did. So they do good service, but just gotta plan the shirt a bit better. For this kind of picture, some kind of border design would work nice. I made these other version with borders if anyone wants to make their own shirt.

http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc14 ... ed-1-1.gif
http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc14 ... _shirt.jpg

Both of those have solid black on the edges, which can be easily removed by the customink.com artists, the same way they did for the picture on the back of the shirt.

back of the shirt pic.
http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc14 ... -logo3.jpg

anyways here's the link to where you customize the shirt:
http://dyo.customink.com/cink/r.jsp?E=ci&F=t

Also if you have a beard you might want to lower the picture so it doesn't cover up Zodd's beautiful face.

Don't get me wrong, they're all pretty cool, I just don't get why they only give you the top part of Zodd on that one.
