Anyway I have played a little of Kirby's Squeak Squad and its pretty cool like someone else said though Kirby is way to powerfull.
Sorry, I was trying to make a parallel to that fake Spanish article to show that I always don't believe what I hear.

On that note, I can't wait for Pokemon to come out for the DS.
Trust me, I'm a doctor!

I got Scurge The Hive recently. Cool little game, think Metroid but isometric.

Also been playing Sudoku on Brain Age.

I'm buying Rocket Slime today.

Yoshi's Island was a tremendous disappointment.

That's my DS status report.

Fuck you all.

It's fun, but pretty easy. It was a fun way to kill time in the airport during my last vacation.

I wanted to get this. What was wrong with it? Is it even worth picking up?

No, it's not.

I beat it, but I dreaded every minute of it.

Traded it (and Portrait of Ruin) for Rocket Slime.

The thing is, it's been over ten years since the original SNES game (which I absolutely love) and this game brings absolutely nothing new to the table.

The big difference here is that you can change babies but you can only do so in specific spots, which is stupid because it really limits the game's potential.

The game lost a lot of it's visual flair, they added more shading that makes the characters look fuller but it just looks generic compared to how beautiful and unique the SNES game was. Things like Yoshi's floating feet from the original (he didn't have legs) are gone.

Yoshi moves a lot slower and you can only run with Mario by pressing Y, which to me seems like an excuse to make the levels seem larger.

I thought the dual-screen platforming was fun at first, until I realized that you can't freely switch between top and bottom screen and the music just pales in comparison to the original.

I just can't think of a single memorable moment in the game.

If you want a decent platformer, try Kirby Squak Squad.

Easy as hell but much, much better than Yoshi's Island DS.

Seriously, save your money.

I never got a chance to play the SNES one. Sounds like I need to go grab that and just skip YI DS.

After defeating pretty much every thing I wanted to in PoR, I must say that I liked Dawn of Sarrow more. PoR just did not pop with me, even though I enjoyed Charlotte's magic a whole lot. I thought the production on it was kinda lack luster.

Magical Starsign is a goodun, and I've heard Contact is good too. Also if you like the battle system of the Mana games then there is Children of Mana out as well.

I've completed Magical Starsign which was a pretty good RPG, though a bit short at about 25 hours. I haven't played the others yet.

Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time is really the only stand out RPG on the DS thus far. But, Dragon Quest IX is coming out for the DS sometime in the future and so is a new Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles.

Man, why the hell is 25 hours considered short? That is simply ridiculous.

I usually would say that 25 hours is short, but quality is an issue also... I enjoy 40 hour RPGs

It is that mentality that makes developers pump games with fluff just to make them longer.

Some Side Quests rock some suck but have there rewards, and that is what is its about if you finish a side quest and all you get is a potion and some money that is stupid. But like I said Quality is a must... example Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic lots of side quest with good back stories.

Well Magical Starsign hasn't got many side-quests, but it's all story (all 25 hours worth), plus it has a few extra Wi-fi extras that are good.

Finished Hotel Dusk: Room 215 a couple of days ago. It's basically a bigger, badder (as in -ass) and generally more accomplished version of Another Code (or "Trace Memory"). Surprisingly long (but still short) and more of an interactive novel than an adventure game. 8/10 or something.

Currently six hours into FFIII, and lovin' it so far. Fuck FFXII.

Thats one of the things I have noticed that DS games are fun and easy I guess that is the reason kids and adults alike enjoy DS games...
